Yesterday was a bit of a clusterfuck.

After class and seeing Rob, we came home to find Al in the driveway with the truck.

First, here's some backstory: Al's crazy fucking daughter Melissa stopped taking her medication (she's around our age, if not older, has a kid that was taken away from here and is severly mentally fucked. She's on foodstamps and medicade and all that that good shit, essentially, she doesn't have to work) and flipped shit and was booted from her apartment. She went to the Cleveland Health Clinic and her furniture came here. Whatever. It's an inconvience, but I can deal with it.

However, it was taking up a lot of space. I told Al, "I'm going to move some of these around and use them, since they might be here for a bit and I don't want them wasting valuable space.". I don't know if it went over his thick head or if he's just stupid (probably the latter), but we got a call about a week ago complaining about us using one of the stands (an almost $400 BOUGHT BRAND NEW, apparently, Ashley Furniture stand) for our TV. OH NO. GOD FORBID. He bitched about us banging it up (which we had not, it was already scuffed and scratched when it was brought in the house). He told us to move it. I, of course, have been FUCKING BUSY this last week and a half. I had not had time to move it.

So he took it upon himself to come into our bedroom, move everything around (crumple a commission TJ just got back from Anthrocon, because he has no goddamn respect for other peoples' belongings) and put the stand in the truck.

Then.

THEN.

We got into it in the front yard. At, like, 10PM. He's bitching about not having any money and about us not telling him we were using Melissa's furniture (which we had, and Is tated that numerous times). He's bitching about the house being cluttered. Not because he's wanting to show it or anything, but because he thinks it's 'dirty'. Or complaining about the fact that I should do dishes more than once a week (uh, wut?). Because, as I told him, he obviously knows exactly what I do every day. Yeah, the sink usually has a few dishes in it. Y'know why? Because we eat every day and I don't do the dishes the moment one hits the sink.

Welp. I guess he's one to pass judgement there because he lives in a house that smells like a litter box with 20+ cates in dog crates and a pretty bad hoarder complex. Plus having someone to do their dishes every day.

He bitches about us 'having money to blow on things'. Like what, do you ask? A TV and a new mailbox.

The TV which we got from Angie for free and the new mailbox which was a whopping $10 (which I told him my mother bought for us because we don't have a box). No, he doesn't need to know what I do with my money or even how much I have. That is not his business.

He complains about the bills. Despite the fact we told him WHEN WE MOVED IN that we would help. He stated something about a few months back, or even back in the winter. Yes, because I had the extra income to even consider helping with bills. I barely had the money to put food in my mouth.

It was just astounding.

Y'know what? You don't have any fucking money? Sell some of your goddamn belongings. Those three cars sitting in your driveway? One of which is your mothers' who is dead now? Sell it. Stop hanging on to things like that for 'sentimental value' when you're in a dire situation. Sell some of the 30++ model cars you have in your basement. I remember him spending $500+ on just one single purchase of model cars. You know what I do when I strapped for cash? I trade in my games and movies. I WORK. I take on commissions and I sell artwork.

Now he called and is bitching about "DON'T PUT THE MAILBOX UP THERES A REASON THERE'S NOT ONE THERE I DON'T WANT THE CITY OR THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT KNOWING SOMEONE IS STAYING THERE THEY'LL COME DOWN AND LOOK INTO IT AND THEN I'LL BE SCREWED.". Welp. If you'd have fixed up the fucking things that are wrong with the place, it wouldn't be an issue, now would it? I already have mail addressed to come here. What the fuck?

I really wish we were actually renting here because then he wouldn't be allowed to step foot in the place without our permission AND we'd have a rental permit so he'd HAVE to fix the things wrong with the place.

I can see why the last tenants trashed the place before they left. I'm tempted to do the same.

So, now, since we have a little money, we're looking for somewhere else to move. Because, quite frankly, I'm not putting up with his shit anymore. No, he has not threatened to kick us out. I believe Karen (TJ's mother) wouldn't take too kindly to that. But I know he's going to keep giving us shit for his mistakes and him not getting his shit together.

Angie, know of any cheap places that'll take pets out there in Kent?

I have used this damn RAEG icon more than I've needed to lately. Ugh.

OH. Also. The gas is due to be cut off by the 8th. Awesome. There goes more of my money. I have to look into getting it in my name or just paying the $154 that's overdue. Whichever is cheaper, I suppose.

I bought some cheap scrapbook stuff from Joanns the other day while we were in Boardman. These are from the 'photo mats' packs I got, the really nice ones out of them. I have a bunch of sheets I might scan still, there's twenty of them, but I'll probably only scan the really nice ones.

There's two .ZIP files. Just click on the set you want!

Yesterday was a bit of an adventure. We trekked out early-ish to kidnap Angie from her mother. Ended up dicking around Stow for a minute before we decided to go up to Cleveland. TJ wanted to look for clothes at The Mission but, apparently, half the store is stripper gear now and out of the other half? Maybe 10% is guy clothes. So that was a bust.

Went to the asian markets, discovered there was a Browns game happening that night, so we ditched our Tower City plans and drove in circles around Lakewood trying to find the Westgate Mall. Eventually, however, we did find. Stopped a few places and TJ finally found some clothes (including some AMAZING pants) and I found some really comfy t-shirts at Kohls for only $5 each.

Then, we went to Bounce for the rest of the night.

Crashed at Angie's, recovered from the evening and then went to retrieve the fish + tank Angie's mom was giving us and we ended up with that, a TV, some posters and some clothes and other bullshit. So not a bad haul.

Came home, loafed around. Keep forgetting I have SCHOOL in the morning, so I should get some sleep at some point.

The house needs cleaned BADLY, but hopefully I can do that when I get home tomorrow.

I scanned up a bunch of my scrapbook papers at 300dpi to use for textures and stuff and I figured I would share them. I didn't make them, they were all store-bought. But I did put the effort into scanning them, so credit or a link is appreciated, but not required. Follow the fake cuts over to my icon journal for more! There's about 40-some total.

you're everything I don't want )

but everything I need )

I came home from work early last night. Well, I worked my scheduled shift, which was only until 2AM. But I got CRAMPS and I spent those four hours going between nausea and trying not to pass out. I slept until about 11PM-ish, which also sucks. Because I still have to get some sleep before 10PM when I go BACK to work. Ugh.

Payday seems so far away. D:

I'm finally making my way through all the mixes I've downloaded from [livejournal.com profile] fanmix. I tend to sort though the mixes to find the songs I really like, so I can keep them and then clear out the ones I don't like or are indifferent about so I have the space. Because I download A LOT of mixes/fanmixes. But I find A LOT of really good music, so that makes me happy. :D
