Last night wasn't half bad.
After spending the day putting together costume stuff (TJ took Etsu and made some feet/paws/ears as well, I threw together a Poe-ish costume), we trekked up to Angie's. Ended up taking a wrong turn to find the back way to Angie's house and got stuck near the nicer bars in Kent. Since it was 10PM, Halloween festivities were in full force and it was at least twenty minutes of waiting to get down this side road to the light so we could get out of there. At least we got to look at costumes and people watch for a few.
After getting ready at Angie's, we went up to Akron. Initally, the plan was to go to the Interbelt (which is fail no matter what) because Cleveland was a much longer drive. At the Interbelt there was nowhere to park and we deemed it a NO after seeing someone dressed in what we thing were sweats, sandals, a shirt and Joker face paint makeup.
We ended up going to Square, which is a place Greg knows. Nice place, but SO crowded. So so so crowded. However, we hung around and got some drinks, danced for a little bit. TJ had a bit of an asthma attack and we sat out for a bit until Greg and Angie decided to head out.
Of course, at 2AM, food is required and we were lucky! There was a deli right next door that's open until 3AM. Mr. Zub's Deli, whose whole menu is based off of movies. Pretty much the most awesome thing ever.
Then we went back to Angie's, bullshat for awhile and crashed for the night.
Now, home. Going to put in some more applications online and try to do my online writing assignment. I know I have a test or two this week and I need to kick my ass into gear with going to class every day. But....uuuugh. D:
