TJ just alerted me to this in the neighbor's yard yesterday:

Yes, that is a recliner on a golf cart and it's AMAZING.

Went up and registered for classes and got my COMPASS scores. Oh god, they're so lulz. You must know them.

Pre-Algebra: 38/100
Algebra: 26/100
Reading: 91/100
Writing: 84/100

Look at those math scores. Oh, hilarity. That also means I tested into Pre-Algebra. Which is terrifying, but hopefully I'll grasp it better now instead of when I was in high school. My Reading is good though, and I don't have to take any Reading classes because DURP I KAN READ. I probably would have done better on my Writing if I'd paid MORE attention. I probably overlooked something that looked fine in my head but really wasn't. But that's okay, my grammar and shit has always been less-than-stellar.

My classes are only Monday and Wednesday, which leaves the rest of the week for work and lazing. Sure, my classes are almost all day and I work from 11PM-7AM (or whatever K-Mart gives me), but I'm only going to be working MAYBE twenty hours a week, apparently. God willing, I won't be overloaded. But here's my classes for the Fall, as 'meh' as they are:

10:00 - 11:15 :: General Psychology
11:30 - 12:45 :: College Writing I
02:15 - 03:55 :: Core Mathematics I And II
05:15 - 06:30 :: Art History I: Ancient And Medieval Art

Not too bad, I suppose. I have an hour or two of free time in there, so that's not bad. And considering it's only two days a week, I think I can survive that.

I gotta get TJ to fill out his stuff, my mom is giving him the admission fee and I want to make sure he gets in to do Fall classes, but I'm worried because I know how long it took me to get my acceptance letter. I'll have to inquire and see when the latest to register for classes is, I suppose.

But! He's happy because the paper I have with the LER classes on it has ARCHAEOLOGY and OCEANOGRAPHY. I know Angie's taking Oceanography as a random course this year, too. But TJ's really interested in both, so I hope they are actually offered and don't fill up really quick.

I realized today I have some art that I haven't posted yet!

Squeeji's sketch, my inks and colors. Oh, Steve, you poor boy.

Ginny being cute and nude. I forgot her pouch.

Some jungle lizard chick. Yes, I know, lizards don't have boobs, but I like boobs so they're there. :V

Some ACEOs that are for sale on FurBuy.

I need something to break up my larger commission pieces. So I'm offering up some little ACEO/ATC (2.5x3.5) commissions for cheap! Full color, possibly embellished with scrapbook stuff, comes in a little slipcover to keep it nice and clean and safe. No shipping!

They're similar in size to my old mini badges, but a little larger, so they could be used as badges, if you wanted to. I get them done pretty quickly, as well.

I'm also open for smaller-sized commissions for really cheap. Sketches or inks on smaller (5x7-ish) paper. I just want to be able to USE my Paypal again. D: And, y'know, have some money in hand for groceries and such before my job starts/the first of the month.

Halp plz?

Also, also, since I love my friends so much, Squeeji and Angie are also taking commissions if what I have doesn't interest you. :V

I'd like to point out that I removed the bellybutton, however. Because...why would an egg-laying creature have an umbilical cord hole?

But still....tits.

Was Psych at least interesting? That's what I'm most worried about. I don't think I can keep interested if it's booooooooring. But I'm hoping it's not. D:

it depends on the professor, i know i had a great prof my first psych class so it made me really like it and i almost minored in it. almost.

then i had a really shitty teacher for enviro psych and that made me change my mind :C

I found it pretty interesting for the most part. BUT, watch out for the chapter on the brain and it's functions. OH MY GOD, you have to memorize SO MUCH. Mendula, hippocampus, lobes, FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Flashcards helped a lot for me :O

those classes look pretty good! very similar to my first semester :> i wouldn't feel too bad about the math, i had to take basic algebra crap-math for like, three years. not really because i'm bad at it, mostly because i forget math easily and then i transferred and the credits didn't transfer over, so my last semester of school i had to take retard math with kids who had trouble with graphs and venn diagrams. 9_9
the GOOD thing about those classes is, at least you know what you'll be doing, and it'll make it that much easier to get an A. ;>

Oh I TOTALLY expected the math scores. When I started that section of the test I almost laughed out loud. When I was in HS I had to take three different grade level math classes my senior year in order to graduate.

I'm decent with math when I apply it to real world things. Like fractions with baking or decimals with money. And I'm one of those weird people who like figuring out, like, the questions about how fast a train is going compared to other bullshit (I know they have a name, but damned if I know it). But once you start throwing in numbers and weird ass fractions and shit, I'm completely dumb.

Yeah, I'm totally comfortable with the classes I'm taking. I'm more worried about the people TEACHING them. Boring Instructors = Bored Ally.

Oh, and a heads up, for College Writing 1, you'll have to write an auto-biography themed essay, a response to a book or article, a persuasive essay, and a research essay. I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT because I, um, sort of took the class twice with different professors >_>

Easy enough, but maybe you can get a head start on ideas.

OH AND ANOTHER THING,m if you haven't already, sign up for Direct Deposit of any financial aid you get, because you'll get it about a week ahead of having it mailed. And apparently they're starting to mail the checks on the 21st of August.

I've gotta get my new bank account in order first. And that means getting some extra money to actually put IN there. D:

not claiming, just commenting
