There's a bar around the corner (near the North End Market) that has a 'No Colors' sign on their door.
Holy shit, FA has a search. Wow.
I walked all over town. Mocha House for coffee and a peanut butter chocolate brownie. I think it tasted 'meh' because I was feeling like crap. But it tasted like I remember, so that's good. I doodled a bit. Forced myself to, really. Saw that they're looking for local artists to exhibit soon, so I jotted the e-mail down and I'll probably contact them and see what they're looking for. It's gotta be better than what's down there right now. I saw a framed piece of a ballpoint pen drawing of a horse head on lined notebook paper.
I'm so not kidding.
At least, if I'm drawing stupid animal people, they're matted and framed and not on notebook paper.
I figure I'll give it a shot. It's not like we have much of an art culture around here, so it really doesn't matter in the long run.
I also wandered down to the library and read some Captain America graphic novels. And the Wolverine Civil war one, too. I really think Humberto Ramos should stick to drawing his own comics and characters. I didn't recognize Emma at all. He did a decent job on Tony, but Tony's not a terribly difficult character to draw. Wolverine hanging out underwater in the Iron Man suit was pretty entertaining, however.
I was going to stop at the comic store, but I didn't want to walk all the way to the square.
I don't know, I was out for, like, four or five hours or something. It's cold as fuck and I always pick the coldest days to go out and walk. I can't fucking wait for spring.
