Writer's Block: Shops Gone By

Haha, probably Woolworth's in the mall. It closed years and years ago here. Ten, at least. I keep thinking I was JUST hanging out with TJ, or it was RIGHT before that. But I do recall us lamenting the fact it was closed.
It was HUGE and right in the middle of the mall building. You could cut through it to get from the main mall concourse to the JC Penny concourse. And I recall eating at the little restaurant that was attached to it.
I also remember the McDonald's in the mall fondly, as well. It had an awesome Playplace.
AND, OH GOD, SUNCOAST. ;_; ;_;
I still get sad going down to that end of the mall because there's still NOTHING in its place. If something replaced it (though, Hot Topic did shortly while their spot was getting remodeled [they took away the cast iron doors!!!]), I'd probably forget about it. But it's still there. Empty TV slots in the front and BAWWW.
We spent a lot of time there, between working the holiday seasons and hanging out with Rob.
And Hills which became Ames which became Hills which went out of business and now there's a Big Lots in its place.
