She really looks too much like Sailor Jupiter. But I think that's mostly the fault of the hair. It's supposed to be Pepper in an Iron Man suit, but I had no reference for the suit and the whole thing sort of fell apart as I started adding little details and crap. So it's mostly boiled down to a pretty girl in a mech suit. Which really isn't that bad, when I think about it.

I remember not really liking Daniel when I spoiled the ending for me by reaidng the wiki some time ago. But he grew on me in the last couple issues.

Part of me really feels like Poe should be intertwined in the Sandman stories. I don't know why, but she seems to fit in perfectly. Maybe simply as someone like Hob who just decided they weren't going to die until they felt it was time to go. I don't know.

You know, I'd never been able to put into words why Tony designing Pepper a suit would just be too much of the bad crack (but will eventually find a way into one of my fics) until now. Your drawing really covers all of it and why it would be such a mess: He'd want to make her a metal catsuit, for lack of a better term, he'd want to make it as curvy and thin and perfect as possible, taking no heed from Jarvis or Rhodey as he left the arches of her foot to delicate, and emphasized her breasts. So, um, actually I think you just jumpstarted a fic that had stalled on me in september.

Plus, he'd probably never listen to the fact that she's "claustrophobic, Tony! Don't you know what that means?"

Me and friends were discussing how Pepper would end up in the suit. It mostly ended up being that Tony was out of commission and Rhodey, who can pilot the suit, was captured or something. Poor Pepper would be the only one left who Tony trusts enough to do anything, which would end up with a crash course in learning how to USE the suit and, y'know, dealing with Tony being a lech (because YOU KNOW that's a wet dream of his).

On the other hand, a thin, femme-based Iron Man suit wouldn't be that bad of an idea. He'd use the excuse he's trying to make it lighter and more streamlined. Lots of words for "god, how hot is this?". :D

I had some other loose sketches here (http://fallenangel.furtopia.org/ART/Junk/junk178.png), where I tried to keep the feminine traits, but not over do them. Because that wouldn't make sense.

Well, that's always been the thing with me, I don't think (my) Tony would ever put Pepper anywhere near a field. For a lot of reasons, sure, but mostly because he'd know where her assets as a good pinch hitter were. That said, it doesn't mean she couldn't be a helpful model for one.

Haha, yeah. Our Tony/Pepper is borderline crack. We put them through a lot of hell. But, movieverse-wise (and even current comicverse), I can't see him putting her in danger's path.

But, yeah. "Hey, Pep! I need your help with something.... *sly smile*". And then it's all downhill from there. :D

You could go from another angle that this suit is an contingency to protect Pepper in an emergency. Or that he is designing an Iron Maiden suit for a new character, and since Pepper is similar in size, she test fits. *shrugs*
