FUCK YEAH MACY'S RICKROLLED US ALL!

I was at the nursing home to see my grandma and my mom and they had the Macy's Parade on (which I haven't seen since I was little) and we were fortunate enought to catch it and lulz hardcore.

Turkey's looking GOOD. We brined it and seasoned it and buttered it and it's a beautiful golden brown. Yum! I hope it's as tasty as it looks.

EDIT: Turkey is delicious. It got seasoned really well and, while the skin didn't get as crispy as we'd like, it's still extra yummy.

I spent $100 on groceries at Walmart, thanks to my check being $100 more than it usually is. This is awesome, because we got tasty foods. I still may pick up some more meats, but we've got a good variety of stuff now. And tasty breads! Yay!

So, I re-upped my WoW subscription as a little gift to myself and I hadn't kept up on the patches. So, now I have to MAKE SPACE for, like, 6GB of shit that it probably mostly useless to me as I don't have Lich King and I won't be getting it for some time. NRRG. I need more HDD space. I only have 60GB overall and it's seperated between 40GB and a 20GB drives. And, yeah, I can stash stuff on TJ's 250GB drive, but I'd rather have it all on my own so I can always access it.

ARGH.

I finally got around to doing this wishlist meme going around!

Rules:
(1) Make a journal post. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

(2) If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. [Note: Your home address is not required!]

(3) Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.

(4) Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
