I've been doodling Freckles/Anthony/Steve a lot lately. The first was just random and the second is from a scene the other night. They're nothing special, but it's good pratice for interaction and all that.
HOORAY FOR FOUR YEARS WHERE PEOPLE CAN'T TELL ME THAT, BECAUSE I DIDN'T VOTE, I DON'T HAVE AN OPINION.
No, I didn't vote. Not because I didn't want to this year, but because of other reasons mostly involving me totally forgetting to register by the deadline.
REGARDLESS, my being able to vote or not is a personal choice anyhow, and I shouldn't be reamed because I did or didn't. Yes, I would've voted Obama, but only because I CAN'T FUCKING STAND Palin. McCain? Really don't have a strong opinion on him. He was just Another White Guy running for office.
Yes, I'm HAPPY Obama won. But I'm going to get really tired, really quick of hearing ignorant people bitch and moan. But, hey, the tables are finally turned and THEY get to be unhappy with who's in office like WE were for the last EIGHT years.
And, really, if I didn't like/care for either canidate, I would've written something absurd in. Like Steve Rogers. Because Tony Stark would make an awful president. We all know it.
And there's the required political comment from Ally.
Work has been going well. I kinda like the 2AM shift. I can wear jeans, we can make a huge mess and not worry about needing it cleaned up by 8AM. It's just really relaxed.
I'm still not happy with the hours, however. Only, like, four last night. But I have five days this week. I really hope things start picking up. But we haven't been making good sales, so the trucks have been small. So it's not REALLY the fault of the store, it's the fault of the economy.
I'm still second job hunting. I'm wanting to keep my job at Target because it's EASY and I know what I'm doing and, well, it's EASY. I like it. So I have to find something either BEFORE 2AM or AFTER 6AM. Which doesn't SEEM that hard, but...
