obliviousally_ljI work at midnight. x_x It's inventory day tomrorow. I've actually no clue what that consists of at the Redshirt Empire, to be honest. I wasn't in Silverdale for inventory, to this should be exciting. I'm scheduled from 12:30AM-6AM. x_x
BUT. I can wear jeans, as I'll be out of work before 8AM. YAAAAY.
I was checking out the Iron Man DVD's. And, while I adore the slipcover one with the dark picture of Tony on the actual sover (under the slipcover), I pretty much loathe the background art which I bitched about here. HOWEVER, Target has the cool helmet boxes, which are pretty much awesome. But TJ said the one from Best Buy comes with some litho or something, so we'll probably see what that looks like before we pick a copy up. :B

2.) Where did the name of your Fursona come from?
Phoenix: I don't actually remember why I named her Phoenix, to be honest.
Gwen: It's a cute name, I guess.
Shira: Trying to find something vaugely Asian, but not actually weeaboo.
Poe: Edgar Allan Poe, of course.
3.) What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
Phoenix: Fox, because, uh...her parents are.
Gwen: Cheshire Cat, because they're pretty much awesome.
Shira: Siamese Cat, because I've always like them.
Poe: Tortioseshell Cat, because they is a huge lack and they're cool.
4.) What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eyes/etc
Phoenix: Sienna brown fur with cream markings, naturally dark brown hair dyed red, green/blue eyes.
Gwen: Pink fur with light purple markings, grey hair, yellow eyes.
Shira: Tan fur with dark brown markings, black hair, green eyes.
Poe: Black fur with mottled tan, white, grey markings, purple hair, grey eyes.
5.) What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?
Phoenix: She long had this tough girl personality, which still lingers around. But she's seen as a bit over-confident and a bitch by those who don't know her well. Everyone says I'm the most like Phe (or Phe's most like me), but it's not completely true. There's a lot of things that cause me and her to stand apart from each other in the long run.
Gwen: All around friendly, bubbly, occassional stoner. She's pretty easy to get along with. She probably has the personality most like mine, minus the stoner bit. She's a kid at heart and isn't afraid to show it.
Shira: Friendly, super polite, likes kids. Aside from liking kids I'm pretty polite to people I meet. Although it's not always genuine and more of a necessary evil.
Poe: Friendly, curious, not afraid to ask about anything that piques her interest. I really wish I was more like Poe. But then I may end up summoning Elder Gods or something...
6.) What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?
Phoenix: She has a really girly pink jewelrey box with a dancing ballerina her father gave her. I used to have cute jewelrey boxes like that when I was little.
Gwen: She loves 80s toys and raver gear, both of which I adore as well.
Shira: She has a extensive Hello Kitty collection...
Poe: She has lots of old books and spooky things and stuff. I only wish I had as much, but I like old spooky things.
7.) What is one thing you think you would say to your fursonas if you could meet?
Phoenix: "You lucked out."
Gwen: "We should go party!"
Shira: "You children are going to be horrible monstrosities."
Poe: "Let's summon Cthulul"
8.) What is one thing your fursona would say to you if you could meet?
Phoenix: "What the hell does that mean? Are you still jealous I have a werewolf boyfriend?"
Gwen: "I know this great place a friend spins at and WE'RE THE SAME SIZE LET'S FIND CLOTHES!!"
Shira: "I know. I can only hope they'll be well behaved monstrosities..."
Poe: "Let's...not. I'm on good terms with His Greatness so far. I don't want to ruin it."
9.) How has your fursona changed over the years?
Phoenix: Phe's probably evolved the most. She used to be the typicl tough girl. Grossly over-confident, more than a bit concieted. She ended up going through a lot of crap before she finally matured and reeled all that bullshit in.
Gwen: Gwen hasn't changed a whole lot, aside from growing older. But she, like myself, was a bit more mature than everyone her age group before she actually needed to be.
Shira: Shira's always been cute and tiny. She grew up, got engaged and does student teaching at her college.
Poe: Poe's been around for years now, but only just recently was fleshed out. She was your typical spooky goth kid in school and evolved into a well spoken college girl who works at a museum and, uh, also for the BPRD.

Phoenix: 1999? 2000?
Gwen: 1999/2000
Shira: 1997/1998
Poe: 1999
I squealed at this with the voice most women normally reserve for babies and small childen. We see where my priorties lay and they're much cuter than baby humans.

I need to make a cover/back for my original Tony/Pepper one. But I'm lazy. Go figure. But I have a few other ideas for Iron Man mixes, so maybe that'll go somewhere...
I want to do some Sandman mixes, but I'm going to need to re-read the graphic novels. Thankfully, I did download them the other day! Hurrah!

Me and TJ can't actually work TOGETHER because we are a couple. But Debbie and Jennifer can, despite being mother and daughter.
