obliviousally_ljI'm filled with some epic sort of cranky rage for some reason. I'm really trying NOT to be, but I am.
Al came over today and dropped off mail. Apparently, ANOTHER CAT had kittens. He has, like, twenty fucking cats in the house over there. None of them are fixed, most are kept in dog crates to keep them away from each other. It's disgusting and evey time I'm reminded he has cats I want to call the humane society on him. I don't care if they're fed every day and taken care of, it's animal abuse. They barely get to come out and play and he's doing nothing to get rid of them.
Yes, I keep the kittens in a different room when we're out or asleep. But they're in an ENTIRE ROOM with TOYS and SPACE TO ROMP AROUND.

I'm also crankypants about something on one of the fursuit communities about the whole 'OMG SEEKRIT TECHNIQUES' argument. I really don't see how someone could replicate someone's technique from just a progress photo alone. I don't. Really.And as for sharing general techniques and such? YES, REGULAR ARTISTS DO THAT TOO. I'm always willing to share how I do thing. From putting a sketch together to how to shade something. People aren't paying for your technique, they're paying for your style.
I don't know, being greedy about creative and artistic things it one of those that sort of pushes my angry buttons. I'm indifferent if it's a business or a hobby. Plenty of artists suffer no issues if they give people some insight on how they do things.

But I'm not replying to the replies to my comment until I'm less cranky. I'm honestly not trying to bash anyone, I just find it a little absurd, is all. Maybe it's because I have such an open mind about sharing creativity or some bullshit like that.
