...why is everyone pitching a fit over FAP going down for good? I'm failing to grasp why it's such a big deal to people who really didn't give two shits about the site once FA came back up. I'm also failing to see how someone pulling down what is, essentialy, their OWN SITE is 'rude' and 'disrespectful to artists'. Big deal, he got sick of running the site, so he took it down. That's what anyone with any sense in their heads would do. He doesn't OWE you a heads up. He doesn't OWE you to pass HIS SITE on to SOMEONE ELSE just to see it torn apart and shat on (Yerf!, anyone?).

In fact, he owes you nothing. At all.

People get their panties in such a goddamn twist over such petty, trivial things. Grow the fuck up. It's not the end of the world. You all still have FA and every other furry art gallery that's out there. The loss of ONE isn't the end of the world.

I slept somewhere around...sixteen hours. That is absurd. I didn't intend to. I should've stayed up when I got up to give the rats more water. But I didn't. I'm going to blame the rain. Sleeping on rainy days is so peaceful.

Most artists bring up the issue because he had created a journal on FAP how FA mistreats the artists and as a website doesn't respect them. I think there's some bitter irony cake there, if he does the same thing by pulling the site without a bit more warning. It is his site, but I don't think one should tell another site what to do and how it is disrespectful when doing something similar at the same time.
