So, who saw Robert Downey, Jr TONY FUCKING STARK on Jay Leno last night? Yeah, I was just going to lay in bed and try to sleep while listening to the TV, but he came on and TJ was like 'IT'S FUCKING TONY STARK WTF' and I OBVIOUSLY had to jump up and see. He mentioned something about making a catapult that could hit a target within a centimeter out of a SPIRAL NOTEBOOK. Then, called it a 'Stark Invention'. I was dying. And he didn't have his hair slicked back. I don't like it like that. It was all unkempt and messy and cute. <3

Work has been looooooooong. And so very tiring. Especially without something caffienated to drink.

I've been having this...increasing paranoia lately. It's started with when I walk to the store in the evenings/at night. When it's dark, I don't take the tracks because it's pitch black. Instead, I take Vernon, which puts me out down by the string of car places that are before the plaza the Giant Eagle is in. Vernon is a quiet street with lots of cute dark-colored brick houses with cute little yards and such. But at night? I'm not scared of being shot or kidnapped or raped. Oh, no no no.

I'm waiting for something slavering and monstrous to come lumbering out of the woods.

Seriously. Any noise makes my head whip around. Sirens off in the distance (because the beginning of them sounds like a howl) make my fight-or-flight response go 'WTF'.

Now, generally, this is always a 'hey, what if?'. But something about this street (at night) sets something off in the back of my mind. Does this force me to take a different route?

Hell no.

But, past this, I've been seeing more shadowy things than normal. And more ghostly white things. Just out of the corner of my eye. I also had a really strange dream last night that someone got into the house but NO ONE WAS THERE aside from me and TJ. Things were moved where they shouldn't be. Tyhings out of place, slightly askew, moved completely.

I don't know. Paranormal paranoia. It's just constantly been lingering in the back of my brain lately. No clue why.

Past bizzare shit like that, I've been downloading a lot of music from [livejournal.com profile] fanmix, working a bit on commissions, helping TJ with some craft stuff, watching Hellraiser, sleeping (but not really eating), fretting about money, ranting about the used douche that is Twilight (and the following books. Seriously, WTF. Sparkly vampires? DAZZLING vampires? I can't take this shit seriously on a good day.), playing WoW, etc., etc.

I want to give Destiny or someone a Glasgow Smile as part of their design. :V

Now, for a bath and a loooong nap.

What color are the street lamps on Vernon? (This is relevant to emotional responses; yellow lamps, for example, attract more violence than blue lamps.)

The moving of things - was that dreamed or real?

This stuff is relevant to my interests.

I'm actually not sure what color they are. Most around here tend to be yellow, though, I think. There's only...maybe..six or eight street lamps along the whole section of road I walk.

It also borders the railroad tracks and a section of woods with a small swamp pond hidden in it.

Dreamed. I haven't actually had anything up and re-situate itself on its own. Anything I've misplaced or moved (and forgotten I'd moved) has been entirely my own fault.

From someone (aka, me) who believes in spirits and ghosts and has worked with them before (and gotten tangible, but not scientific, results):

The pond may have a new "resident". One which wants more personal space (likely meaning human-free space, though this may extend to other creatures) than is already found there; and it's disturbing those around it in the process. I've encountered such things before - one in the woods around Lancaster, Ohio is particularly prominent, and its influence can be felt by sensitives as far as twenty miles from town. Thankfully, once you're actually in the city, the feeling is damped. There's also one in Lebanon, Indiana which appears to be associated with a notorious industrial zone. That one is To Be Avoided if possible; encounters are likely to be fearful at best.

One note on the paranoia? If you're feeling fear for no discernible reason, it may be some other person's fear you're feeling. Ghosts (for example) tend to project their strongest energy - which is typically that thing which holds them in the dark. And that is typically a fear of what killed them. I've noticed that the feeling comes and goes as they experience periodic flashbacks, kind of like a PTSD survivor.
