Yesterday was...exciting.

After waking up from TJ and Angie chattering with each other, I loafed around and decided I'd drag the stove upstairs instead of waiting around for Al to show up and do it. Because you can't rely on him for simple things like that.

After partway dismantling the stove (removing the front door, the top, the burners, etc., etc.), I thought I could just slide it up the stairs. This didn't work, the stairs were spaced too far apart and I kept running into them. Then, TJ, in her infinite genius, jokingly said to Katamari the stove up the stairs.

It worked. I was shocked.

So, special thanks to TJ for the Katamari suggeston, and Angie for watching to make sure if the stove rolled back, it was surely going to flatten me.

:D

Then, me and Angie trekked out to the Greek festival for gyros. It started sprinkling when we left and it was raining a bit when we got there. We waited for noms and it was beginning to rain heavily when we got back to the car. And it was downpouring by the time we got to the Hot Dog Shoppe. We had to rush to and from the doors. D: D:

But we returned home with food. Only to discover 'two with everything, one with no onions' translates to 'one with everything, one with no sauce, one with no onions and no sauce'. We frowned profusely. They were sub-par gyros, too. They use the strips of meat that are tough and used in places like cheap resturants. The ones we had at the Trumbull County Fair were SO much better in all ways.

Way to go, GREEKS. Can't even get your own damn food right. :/

We hung around the house for awhile, then me and Angie went up to the Rock Showcase to see the Dave Matthews Tribute Band. This is an adventure in fail. We were going to walk, but decided against it. This is good. We parked by City Hall and walked over to the ampitheatre. Listened to the (sub-par) cover band. It rained, we took shelter in the sound booth (tent) with, like, ten other people. It cleared up, we took our stuff back to the car, in case it rained again.

It did. On the very short walk back from the car. We hung out on the steps of City Hall until it cleared up again and went back over to the ampitheatre. The Dave Matthews bans finally went on. Only to play, like, five songs before they shut down on account of lightning and more rain. Laaaaaame.

Overall, it was an adventure. Entertaining at the very least.

Then we loafed around the house before me and TJ went to bed.

In other news, I think I'm going to start job hunting again. Target just isn't paying me enough. I need to find something to help out with that, so a second job may be in order.

That's odd you got so much rain - we didn't have a cloud! You're what, 30 minutes from me?

About an hour, actually. I'm in Warren. But, yeah, it was off and on rain ALL DAY. D:

I was at JoAnn Fabrics with my parents today, for a short time. I totally hoped I might run into you guys there. :D Oh well.

Is this real, or am I dreaming? :O

"This is an adventure in fail" made me giggle.
