The AC has been fixed. But, for some absurd and unknown reason, the vent in the bedroom puts out ZERO cold air. I don't know why. I tried tracing it back to the vents that ARE putting out codr air, but I don't know where it goes. This is insanely frustrating. The bedroom is the only fucking room not getting any AC, despite the fact that EVERY OTHER ROOM is nice and cool. It's like some cosmic fucking joke. 'Here, HAVE air conditioning! Oooh! Isn't is NICE? That's great, because you're NOT GETTING IT IN THE ROOM YOU SPEND 98% OF YOUR TIME IN!! HAHAHAHA, SUCKERS!'
So it's, like, 10 degrees warmer in the bedroom than it is THREE FEET OUTSIDE IT IN THE KITCHEN. This is absurd. And stupid. I even put one of the fans on to help pull some of the cool air in and it's....really not helping much.
I mean, I'm thankful for the AC to just be working but...c'mon! Cut me a fucking break here.
This house is going to make me want to kill myself.
EDIT: Checked all the dampers. All fucking six of them. The vents that I'm ASSUMING could be along the same route as the one in the bedroom work. All the OTHER vents in the house are putting out cool air. And, unfortunately, I can't jab anything down in the bedroom vent to see if something's blocking it. Ugh.

Date: 2008-07-17 02:11 am (UTC)The older vents seem to push out less air than the (presumably) newer ones. But the small one in the bedroom doesn't put out any air, but it's just vaguely cool to the touch and I can't feel any air.
