Doing my DeviantART checkup shows that A LOT of folks are going to SakuraCon. People I'd like to meet or just see their work in person. But I simply CANNOT justify the money I'd put out for admission alone for an anime con. Even if just for a day. Anime cons just do nothing for me anymore. I don't go for the previews or the showings or the game room or the dances. I go for the dealer's room. And sometimes the cosplay.

I guess I'm just so jaded from working Colossal Con and having to put up with shrieking weaboo Japanese-speaking fangirls.

Ugh.

uuugh. i definitely don't miss the funky smelling weeaboos.
if they didn't BUY stuff- i would definitely consider keeping a can of Lysol on my table.

i also love the ones that flip through your folios and say under their breath (like you CAN'T hear them) - "wow, i could draw way better than this". THEN WHY DIDN'T your weeaboo ass get yourself a table!? oh, that's right, because you're full of shit.
