Today is off to a rocky start.

I went in to work last night for the extra hours. Plus, holiday pay. Which makes up for the fact we were only there until 5AM.

Krispy crashed over yesterday, as well. When her and TJ fell asleep in the nest on the floor I went about ushering the two of them to comfier spots and sleeping. We slept until about 7PM or so and I got up and cleaned the kitched and picked up in the living room a bit. We ran out for Burger King and then came back and loafed around for a bit. Then, I headed off to work and Krispy went along with to see if they wanted her to work at all, cause she needs the hours. We both ended up working, so yey, monies!

Went to Safeway after work to get foodstuffs. When I returned home, there was a crisis.

Turns out Binary had woken up SCREAMING in pain. TJ panicked, but managed to seperate him from the others and put him in a comfortable cage. I examined him, called a few emergency places, and then gave him some of his Baytril because he was wheezing and gasping. After a few moments he was calmer and not screaming. And within the next twenty minutes he was back to normal. I'm going to keep and eye on him today and call the vet on Monday to see if someone can drain the abscess/cyst, as we didn't make it out there yesterday.

Now, things seem to be calmer. Thankfully. It's my day off and I just want to loaf around and get some decent sleep.

No, TJ said she heard him and then found him in the corner of the cage. The other rats either weren't awake, or were upstairs. He's fine now, back to his normal self, thankfully.
