Trying not to seem so just like anyone...

obliviousally_ljQuidgy's vet visit went well. I was happy to hear that we DID diagniose him properly. The vet said that it's probably his myco (essentially, and upper respiratory infection that all rats have, but it it mostly dormant) flaring up and she'd give us some antibiotics and see how he does. This is awesome, cause his vet bill was on $57. He hates the medicine, however, and he's a PAIN to give it to, because it's oral and since he won't take it on his own, I have to hold him and hope I get most of it in his mouth.
We stopped at the pet store and spent the rest of the girft card we had from Christmas. Got them some treats and a nice little ledge (not sure if we'll use it for one of these cages, or one of the ones back home). We also got a little harness, but it's too small for the only two who would probably use it (Harper and Waffle), so we'll have to take it back and exchange it.
Overall, I'm happy Quidgy only has a cold. Hopefully it won't get worse, but we'll deal with it if it does. I really liked the vet, she was nice and did really seem to care about the little beast. So, yay. <3
I, however, feel like crap and I should really go lay down before work. I only got three hours of sleep before dragging myself out of bed to go to the vet's office. I was REALLY cold and shaky for awhile when I woke up, so I think I might be coming down with something.
Tomorrow we're trekking over to Renton and Kent to pick up a hairless rat and a desk. Wooo.
I need to get around to finishing matting my prints so I can toss them up on Furbid. I'm still waiting to hear back from a commissioner and I REALLY need to rework this other commission. x_x I also need to round up all of the things I have to send out, so I can do that as well. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow after I get home from Seattle.
