I've been meaning to update for awhile now. I'm being lazy.

Stanley passed away yesterday. Which I'm both thankful (because he was old and sick) and sad (because he's Stanley) about. But he went quick and in my lap. So, at least he was safe and warm.

Harper seems to be doing okay, despite the loss of his cagemate. But he's a little daft and I don't really think he cares all that much. We're trying to pair him up with Waffle and Quidditch. And Quidditch isn't happy about having another dominant rat around, so it's funny to watch them box and tussle when we let them out to run.

I picked up the WoW battlechest. Then I was PISSED because I updraded my old account instead of my newer one (with my newer characters on). So I deleted my old characters, since they were below level 10 and just made a Blood Elf. Hurrah.

We also finally broke down and got a sewing machine. This is good and bad. Good because we've been wanting/needing one and bad because it's expensive (I know $75 for a sewing machine isn't really expensive in the world of sewing machines, but it is to me). Upside to this is, we can sew now and I'll be recouping the money with my auctions!

Speaking of, I'm gonna be having some matted prints up shortly here. I got some really nice prints from Kinkos yesterday and I'm very pleased with them. So I'm going to see how they sell.

I found some of my art on e621 that hasn't been tagged properly. That is, with my name. So I'm getting an account there so I can remedy that. And any future things of that nature. I really don't have an issue with people reposting my art to share. It's not a big deal as long as I'm credited. Seriously.

I have to run up to the art store and play the 'which mat board looks best with this?' game! Woohoo! :D

Yeah, I really don't understand the artists who are up in arms about it. It's advertisement/promotion no matter which way you look at it. And it's a bit hard to stay away from your art being associated with porn, especially in the furry fandom. And, to be totally honest, if you don't want your art shared...don't post it on the interwebs. Don't even upload it anywhere. Once it's somewhere, it'll be everywhere. Simple as that.

I can understand paysites and the like not wanting art distributed. That's common sense. But the cool places (Club Stripes) puts out enough accessible material, even if you don't get a subscription for their site.
