Stuff and RACCOON
Jun. 9th, 2007 09:15 pmWe have a young raccoon who comes into our carport. He's been the only regular that I've seen. I think I saw a second a few weeks ago, but I can't remember.
He's smaller and scraggly, like he's been shedding and hasn't quite gotten full grown. We got a good look at him as he was waddling around the carport after knocking an empty garbage can over. He stared at us, walked around, and then stared some more.

I've always thought that urban wildlife was fascinating. Like nature just looking you in the face and going: "WELCOME TO THUNDERDOME, BITCH!"
I dunno, here's hoping he's doing well, and not harboring rabies or something.
