Today was good. I was expecting the worst, but it ended up pretty well.

I have to thank TJ for being such a trooper and dealing with my family (which isn't that big of a deal in and of itself, but she's not the most family-oriented person to begin with). You don't know how much that means to me. <3<3

We took a nap and then drove ALL the way out to Johnston, where my mom lives. This is an hour drive from where we are. She lives WAY out in the country. This is, however, good for her, because it keeps her out of the city and keeps her from getting high all the time. It's a fair trade off.

My mom had SO MUCH stuff for me. I can't remember the last time I got so much Easter/birthday stuff. Maybe it's just because the two fell together this year that it seemed like alot. But whatever.

I got a bunch of little trinkets from my grandma. She thinks I'm 15, but that's okay. I will glady take unicorn cards and cute things like that. She's a -little- senile, but she was so happy to see me. My mom got me a set of mugs with soup recipies on them and some more trinkets and a cocktail/mixed drink boox and a chocolate recipie book. She also wrote up a bunch of family and such recipies. <3<3<3<3 Lynn, Bud's mom, got me a nice art set. :D And me and TJ both got an Easter basket and Easter bunnies. I also go balloons. Awesome.

My mom made dinner, ham and turkey. And she made me a cake. And Lynn brought me a peanut butter cup cheesecake from the Sunrise Inn. It's SO good.

And I got to talk with my mom, which I always enjoy. I also tried pickled eggs. D: D: Not my sort of thing, but they didn't make me want to vomit.

I told he me and TJ are planning on getting our ears pointed and she thought it was hilarious. I'm proud that I can find things to keep her on her toes with. :D

After that, we drove to the old apartment and got some more of our stuff. And then we went over to Al's, cause Karen got us a ham and got TJ greens and neckbones. And she also gave us a bunch of Easter candy.

I'm sure I'm missing some things. But it was a nice day, which I'm happy about.

Apparently, we're running back into town tomorrow, cause TJ has a doctor's appointment. And we're also going to hit up the mall and such, cause she found a pair of shoes she wants to buy me.

If I fail to get those, I may save up and make a, uh, custom pair of Converses from their site. >_>

I'm glad to hear you had a happy birthday. :)

Sounds like your Mom's doing better, too. Good news all around!
