obliviousally_ljSoooooooooooo....slept in today, which was wonderful, after working all week. Loafed for a bit, then got around to getting dressed and whatnot.
Picked up my check. Apparently AOL took $70 out of my grandma's account. Yay. But, she called and they said they'd credit her account. Went and got my mom to cash it, then headed to Walmart, where we picked up some more hair stuff for TJ. I got a bag o' microwave pork rinds. I have yet to try them. >_> They're hot 'n' spicy! Mwha! TJ was joyous because she found a Fast and the Furious '70 Dodge Charger metal model kit. She promptly put it in layway. Woulda bought it, but it was $25. o_o
Went out to the mall and wandered, as usual. Hot Topic has Afro Ken undies that aren't thongs! I want some! I didn't want to break down and buy thongs, either. >_o Eek. They had a model (trains, cars, and some other stuff...) show going on at the mall. And we talked to this one nice woman who was selling Wiccan stuff. I wanted a fortune telling fish. o_o TJ asked if she had any wolf/werewolf/lycanthropy stuff, and she mentioned that someone else had asked about the same thing at another show. TJ was happy. No new flyers in DJZ. Of course, I got all the ones that were there from the guy we met last week. ^_^ Nothing else all that interesting.
Went over to... the RIB BURNOFF. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Ribs! My mom hooked us up with some for free, cause she was working for one of the people. One of the game booths had anoles and goldfish and iguanas you could win! So, TJ plays a game, and doesn't win. But, as one of the guy workers was walking off, he told the other guy to hook us up (we think he meant to give us a fishie, but the guy gave us another game... damn). Did I mention TJ was wearing -only- a bikini top (okay, AND pants, but that doesn't matter...)? One of those string bikini ones, at that. I tried to con her into getting more free stuff for us, but she wouldn't. She did, however, buy me a KICKASS cinnamon roll. It was huge. I wanted a funnel cake/elephant ear, but they were four fucking dollars! >_< But I got extra icing on my cinnamon roll. And it was tasty. :9 And! It started -downpouring- while we there. I mean, like, flood rain. We huddled under the tent where my mom was working. By the time it was over, we were pretty much soaked. The whole time, I'm trying to protect my blessed cinnamon roll from the water. How sad. And as we were leaving, after the rain finally let up, we were running through puddles, and kicking water at each other. All while everyone watched us oddly. ^______________^ Funfunfun!
Went to the pet store to look for cheap pets. That sounds so sad. But I wanna GERBIL! They are so fucking cute. There was this little brownish one at Pet Supplies Plus, and it was running around, and holding its little paws up to its face, and eating, and scratching at the cage. HOW CUTE IS THAT?!?! Tell ME! I must have one. Cause I can't have a cat. And I want all those "Free To Good Homes" kittens. All of them. >_< And those kittens I saw in the paper the one time. I shit you not, the first line of the ad was "Our Mommy Was Killed By A Car". I cried. No shit. I want those kitten. Petsmart has really fat cats, too. I wanna upside-down catfish, too. They're cool. They swim and eat and do everything upside-down. Did I mention swim? How fucking cool is that?! And there were some adorable tortises, too! The one was all walking around the tank and crawling on the other sleepy ones. o______O
Um.....went to Circut City to look for the Days Go By single. Which doesn't exist. So we downloaded it. Sweet.
Went to Pat Catans to get beads to make bracelets with. Got in a tiff with TJ over it. Bought the beads. Pretty much the extent of it. If I don't go to the rave Saturday, then I'll still have new bracelets to wear. And TJ got these cute fishie beads. Bloopbloop. o_o
What else, the car show is tomorrow night. Yay! Vroomvroombeepbeep! BEEEP! >_o I'--
