Stuff and LJ LAYOUT QUESTIONS...

Okay, I don't know if this is even possible, or if anyone on my flist would know how to go about doing it.

I'm working on a new layout using the S1 system --> http://obliviousally.livejournal.com/data/customview?styleid=429292

Now, I want to know if there's a code to add the tags list and the calendar, like in my default Expressive layout, to an S1 style. I can't seem to find anything offhand, and I'm not sure if it's even possible without having to recode EVERYTHING. Which I don't want to do.

Also, I'd liek to know if I can add the tags to the bottom of an entry, like they are on my current layout.

The only way I know of to add tags to an S1 style is to just link them all down the side, manually, which is a pain. I also don't think that they show up in your entries, either, which is another pain. I think tags also show up on like http://obliviousally.livejournal.com/tags or something like that, which will be an updated list should you add more, but I don't know if you can embed that into your layout some how.

Do you regularly update any of your character journals? I might be interested in watching if you do. :)

Yeah, I can manually add it, but I would have to change it every month. And I'd have no idea how to code it so it changed monthly. :P BAH!

LJ can be such a big pain in the freaking ass. If they let you use PHP it'd make everything SO much easier!
