So, the apartment thing? With our apartment and the landlady wanting us to apply for another place? Blah, blah, blah?
TJ's mom and Al went over to talk to her today. Apparently she wants us to submit applications for background checks and all that. Fine, fine.
But, I don't know if this is their solution to all the 'excess furniture' and stuff, but they came up with the (absurd) idea of renting out another apartment for us and keeping some of our stuff there. And just living here, more or less. This seems feasible in theory, but it falls apart when inspections come around and the other apartment is mostly empty. When our car is being kept in this parking lot. When people start wondering why we're going back and forth between apartments. When people catch on and try to rob one of the apartments because we're not around.
I don't know if the landlady said we HAVE to get our own unit. I wasn't there. I may inquire when I go to pick up the applications. I don't see why it's an issue that TJ is here, at the very least. Or, why she can't be on the lease. It's a two bedroom apartment, so two people can be on the lease.
I don't know. It's fucking absurd and very aggravating.

Ooo, I know! I'll sell the trailer and we can all live lives in luxury in a cardboard box community. Who needs a job when we can have the glamourous lifestyle of a hobo? Indeed!
