...On the one hand, I can see his point of view, as I like the look (although not the colors, and definitely not the attitude) he's referring to.
On the other hand, he's just being an outmoded imbecile who apparently doesn't ntoice that as time passes, things change and evolve. Fashion in particular. I very much doubt he'd like the Elizabethan-era women, either. ;p He wants a 1950s-era housewife-drone, not an actual relationship.

As far as this post goes, I want to know exactly how wearing pink and being prim and proper and all Shirley Temple-ish makes a girl worth going out with. Oh, never mind personality or intelligence, if they wear skirts and giggle a lot, they're grade A quality, is that it?
Here's my stance: screw that. I want a girl that's a wee bit three-dimensional. I don't care if she's got a pierced eyebrow and tongue, has the physique of Chyna, and swears like a sailor. If she's smart, funny, enjoys sappy romance and loves me for who I am, then I could give a god damn over how 'girly' she is.
