Unngh. Trying to work on commissions.

I took in some of the suit, so I can't do much until TJ gets home from work. And I don't feel like tackling the pouch yet. Besides, we need to dart the chest fur and I don't want to put the pouch on before we do that.

I'm a little peeved at this mouse. With the old one, I could easily do smooth selections and then color change what needed to be changed. It's the cheap and easly (as well as quick!) way I simple shade most of my art. But this mouse is all sensitive and shaky. So I've got to use the tablet, which isn't working much better. Bastards.

I wish I had more RAM so I could just finish up ladylysander's pic already, I feel so bad for taking so long. But I am working on a few other pics to go along with it (I think I posted one awhile back), so I don't feel SO shoddy about taking for-freaking-ever. x_x

Ugh. Work, work, work.

The mouse problem sounds like either a ram issue or a card in the back of your computer is loose. I had the same problem on my first computer. If the tablet is USB 1 then ram is most likely an issue with it. One way to cheat though, is to take your image, the physical one, and trace over on another piece of paper where you know the shadows go. Scan in that paper and fill those areas with your shade colors on another layer and delete the scanned in one and you've bypassed needing to use your mouse. It's helped me out when I've been forced to use slower computers.

Ah, I don't think it's so much a computer problem as I'm just not used to this new mouse. The other one I'd had for...hell, years, so I was really used to it and could lay down shading like it was nothing.

And me and the tablet just aren't working well together today, is all. >_o
