So, the move is, barring any catastrophes, happening. In two weeks happening. I'm over-stressed this evening because of all the stuff that's happened today. I'm also very worried about making sure the animals all go. I simply can't leave any of them behind, they're family. The gerbils we have are older and they've been with us a long time. The rats are our buddies and I can't imagine adopting them out. It's just a matter of managing it so that they can all go at once and we can still get our stuff as well. We'll probably ship some of our lighter boxes; fur, fleece, craft bits, maybe some clothes. And we'll take the things that are heavier and we don't want anything happening to.

We were going to leave some of the gerbils here, figuring we could come back when we got some extra cash before the end of the year and take them with us. But then we realized that, even if the Hag would feed them, give them water, and change their cages once a month (cause our gerbils are, like, exceedingly clean), she more than likely wouldn't be willing to go out and get more food for them. So, unless we bought ALOT of food, they'd probably die of starvation.

I just hope the car isn't as bad as we think. I got a new starter, which we thought we needed cause the car, well, wouldn't start. And the old starter had nothing wrong with it. Lovely. So we thought the engine was froze up. Fucking lovely. But then we realized that, after bypassing the ignition, the alternator fan was going and something was happening with the engine. So we think that the timing chain isn't quite right. Hopefully. Otherwise it's going to be even more of a pain to move.

So, hopefully we can do this. I'm just stress and kinda 'grr' right now, so nothing is looking up in my eyes at the moment. But nothing good will come of being here any longer. This place is just running us into the ground. All it's going to do is make us depressed and suck all the life out of us.

Anyhow, I haven't mentioned where we're moving aside from it's down south. We'll be just outside of Birmingham, AL, living with Peril and her hubby. It should be interesting, at the very least.

I'll get things together and back to running smoothly.
