Stuff and OMG PUPPY!
Jun. 5th, 2005 01:09 amSo. This evening.
We were laying in the bedroom loafing. I was complaining about the heat and TJ was complaining about not wanting to work on her LinkWolf mask. We hear what sounds like a dog shrieking/yelping/screaming out in the hallway. We also hear what sounds like people up near the front door. We ignored it, figuring it was the crotchdroppings that run around at all hours.
The Hag comes home from...wherever she was and tells us that there's a small dog at the foot of the stairs near the front of the building (we live on the basement/bottom floor). TJ goes out to investigate and finds THE CUTEST PUPPY EVER. Turns out, apparently, someone kicked the poor thing down the stairs. She can't use her one leg at all and she screams when she stands on the other. She's in the tub right now, whining and howling and barking because she doesn't like to be alone.
We want to find someone to foster her until we can get a place, cause we REALLY would like to keep her. But we'll have to see what happens.
As for now, she's laying in the bathtub and she's had some scrambled eggs, an animal cracker and water. We don't exactly have dog food supplies like we do for the rodents. :O
As for the rest of the day, me and TJ biked down to the African-American Festival downtown and biked around the city a bit. It was pretty nice. Got some good greasy fair fries with chili, too. Yum. :3
