Anyhow. Aside from the poison ivy thing, things haven't been all that eventful.

My commission auction ended at $40. Glee! Now to wait for the monies and such.

Went down to the library and got a bunch of books. Including the How To Draw Manga: Macromedia Flash Techniques, which I've been meaning to buy, but I am poor. So I downloaded Flash MX 2004 last night, but it likes to crash on me. Bastard. I'll have to fight with that later.

After [livejournal.com profile] barachan's massive art post yesterday, I felt the urge to color the sketch of Ikkakujuu that was in her junk folder. If anyone wants to see it, it's here. I had fun doing the hair. And the lips came out really nice.

I haven't actually been able to drawn anything lately, though. Bastards.

I've been slowly making a tank top. Had some patterns laying around (and I need to pratice before I even try to think about making TJ's Raven cape) and I decided to try it out. I just need to figure out how to put the arm and collar pieces on. I'll probably have to improvise. But I've got the main part done, and it actually fits me. x_x If it comes out okay, I'll probably stencil something on the front or something.

TJ's bringing home a guniea (sp?) pig. Someone just left it in front of the shelter and they don't have anywhere to keep it. People are so fucking heartless.

Uhhh...what else? Not a whole lot, actually. Blah.

That colouring is great~! (But, did you forget to erase the skin tones from the insides of her eyes?)

Nice coloring job. ^_^

As for the sewing project, what I usually do is turn the garment inside out, but keep the sleeve right side out. Then, I start at the shoulder and pin it together before I sew, gathering where needed. Same type of thing for the collar. hope that helps...
