So. I've been working for the last few days. Hooray. The cell phone is going to get cut off. Hooray. No, really, it'll be easier on us, since we won't be shelling out $50-$60 for a shitty phone and a shitty plan with a shitty company. We'll probably get new phones closer to fall and college time. Otherwise, if anyone wants or needs to get ahold of us, drop me an e-mail or an AIM and I'll give you the home phone number.

Work was entertaining last night. Remember the guy who was trying to get me and TJ to have a threesome? Yeah, him. His name's Jim, for the record. So, I'm at work and they shut my press down for the weekend, since they were only keeping a few up for Saturday. So I'm supposed to sweep and look busy for the last hour or whatever while the other presses go down. So I sweep and I sweep and pretty soon, there's not much left to sweep. So me and Matt (the other guy who works on the floor making boxes, switching off material, etc.) sweep some more and then throw the dirt and crap away. I have nothing to do at the moment so I go back to my press to get a drink and then I go to the bathroom. I come back out, going to find someone to ask what I should be doing now, since I have no idea. And Jim's over by the mixer glaring at me. I walk past him and he's all like 'you can't be walking around doing nothing blahblahblah'. So I reach for the broom he's holding. He pulls it away from me and says 'no, I've got this' in this snotty tone. I shrug and walk off, going to find Juan (the foreman, way cool guy).

I ask Juan what I should be doing. He says to ask the guys. I tell Juan that Jim has his panties in a bunch (exact words). Juan tells me not to worry about Jim, he'll talk to him. Cool, so I go and find Matt to ask what I should do, since Jim's being a bitch. Matt mulls over it for a moment and asks if the breakroom's been cleaned. No, I don't believe so, I tell him. And then Jim walks up, informing me that he has something I can do. He hands me a broom and tells me to sweep over by the boxes. Fine, sure, no problem. I'm sweet as pie the whole time he's being all pissy about things, too. He also takes this chance to inform me that Juan's yelling at him because I'm not doing anything. Um, no, douche, Juan's yelling at you because you're not doing your job and giving me something to do. Don't try to place the blame on me cause you're a cockface. So I go and sweep by the boxes, taking my time and everything. I finish and swing back by my press for a drink and I chat with the girl who was working on the press across from me. I tell he what Jim's been doing and she rolls her eyes. I inform her that Jim's just been looking for a reason to be pissed at me cause he was trying to get me and TJ into a threesome.

She gets this shocked look, gives an exasperated sigh/noise, and says 'but he's got a girlfriend!'. Ooh, that I didn't know. And while I'm talking to the girl, Jim walks past, stops, GLARES at me, walks past my press, stops, then walks off again. He comes back around, gets the girl's box of scrap, gets all pissed and kicks the box a couple times. I smirk, grab my stuff to take up to the breakroom. And Jim stops me and tells me he has something else for me to do. Okay, no problem. Has me sweep the breakroom. Fine, whatever. I sweep and give Juan the picture I drew for him (he asked me, very nicely, to see if I could draw his two kids in my cartoon-y style and I liked how his girl's hair was done, so I said yeah) and sat on my ass in the breakroom for the last five minutes.

All in all, it was really fucking entertaining.

Other than that, we bought groceries and saw House of Flying Daggers over Rob's yesterday. I have a six pack of Smirnoff Twisted BLACK CHERRY, which is good. And, uh, that's about it. I need to finish up some art things to post on Furbid, too.
