Stuff and OMGSLEEPNOWPLEASE.

Angel, with ranbow colors splashed over her. Faaaancy. This is gradually turning into....something iRL. I'm adding a bunch of stuff to it.

I'm not so much posting this to show off what I'm doing with it, but how I'm doing it. See, I've got these super cool mechanical pencils called -ish. I've got, like, 5 or 6 colors of them and I've found that they're WONDERFUL for doing stuff like this. They're easy to ink over (although it takes some pratice, as the leads are pretty much like colored pencil leads and tend to gunk up some inking pens), because they're light and now the regualr graphite gray. I can work on bits and piece of an image and gradually ink what I'm happy with as I go and nothing gets all smudged (they don't smudge very easily) and nasty and all messy like it does when I used graphite. They do leave a light color when erased, but I can look over that. So, yeah, I love 'em. Unfortunately, I can only fund them in dollar stores now and I can't even find the leads that were sold seperately once upon a time. :P
But I figured someone might be interested in seeing how I'm doing this image and the Adara one (the other work in progress pic I've been posting). And I wanted to show, since I'm happy with finding a better way to illustrate. I mean, I went from stagnant poses with no background and no effort to...stagnant poses with background and effort! I'm making some kind of progress here! :D
I should really be sleeping right now,but I'm not. I got home at 8AM and crashed and then woke up at 11AM. Oooh, three hours of sleep. x_x I need food and all that jazz and I want my peppermint patty cafe mocha, but the Mocha House is so very, very far away and I was too tired and delerious this morning to get it. I don't know why I'm so tired, my press went down at 3AM and stayed down all morning, so I was just wandering around and helping people out with stuff. Aaaugh.
I also killed a spider this morning. He tried to escape when he saw me coming, but I squashed him good. I've told the spiders a thousand times, if I don't see 'em, I won't bother 'em and they can go about their spidery business all they like. But when I see one? SQUASH. Little fuckers. :P
