WheeeeeeeeeeeeeFUN!
Jun. 26th, 2004 11:22 pmToday's been a good day. Woke up around 11AM or so and got around to getting dressed and dragging TJ out of bed. After some hunting around for one of her purses, we headed out to the mall. We were going to go to the rib fest, but decided not to for some reason or another that I've forgotten now. We hunted for Chronicles of Riddick figures, with no success. And I bought cute undies (the ones I was talking about yesterday, plus a CUTE pair of rainbow thongs). I have so much cute underwear that no one will ever see. Rock. I also picked up my pirate bikini top from Hot Topic. It's red and white striped with skulls and crossbones on the it. <3 We wandered around some more and then went over to Splitstone and traded in some stuff. Got a Sega Saturn cord for free, more or less, and I picked up Semisonic's Feeling Strangely Fine CD, as well as The X-Files movie soundtrack. TJ got a Nights demo disk, too. Hopped over to CD Warehouse (I think?) and found a BT CD that we'd never seen before. So I picked that up, too. Went over to the flea market and picked up some cheap games (House of The Dead for the Dreamcast and Mario 64, which wasn't really cheap...). From there we went over to BW3's for FOOD. Yumyum. Then to Toys R Us to hunt for more figures and then to Borders where TJ picked up the monsters art book she'd been pining for. It's pretty nice. Then we decided to go check out a little store TJ knew of and wound up in one of those cute pagan/witchy/psychic stores. I love them. I got some incense and TJ had a reading done...
Now, in all seriousness, I thought this woman was dead on. I tend to look at these kind of things from both the skeptical side and the believer side. She gave me no bad vibes, no conniving vibes, no decieving vibes. She was a little confused with TJ's...situation, but she worked through it, helping her however she could. The reading went very well, I sat outside of the room they did it in and watched/listened. For only getting the information of TJ's name and what she was there for, the woman really pulled up some stuff that no one would know unless they knew TJ very well. And the fact that she even pointed out that there was a very deep connection between the two of us, even though I was outside the room the were in. I was very, very happy with how it went.
And, quite frankly, I don't care who might think it's a fraud and all that shit. I really don't. So suck it.
Anyhow, from there we went out to the Southen Park mall and played two games of DDR. And TJ bought her Stitch jersey outfit cause it was only, like, $8. Then we went to Toys R Us there for the CoR figs, and no luck, again. And then to Barnes and Noble, where they simply blew us off in helping to find a book TJ's been looking for. They can only search by author ot title, not subject. That's fine, but you could at least make a fucking effort to help, bitch.. Jeeze.
All in all, it's been a great day. And now I'm going to eat pudding pops and play Mario 64. :3
