So, things are looking up, if not a bit hectic and crazy. But, I work best in those conditions.

I expect a weekend of little sleep but lots of fun this weekend.

Why? Well, we finally got some work. Labor Ready hooked us up with 5 days straight of work at a plastics plant out in Champion. Which means, like, $40-$50 A DAY (paid daily, yay!). Sure, it's 7AM-3PM for the five days, but ah well. It means money and that means paid bills, food, and extra cash for Colossal Con. Which ROCKS.

Then, tomorrow after work we have to rush to pay the car insurance before the place closes, pick up art supplies for comissions and go see Dawn of the Dead with Rob in the evening. Rob has proclaimed Friday to be Day of the Dawn of the Dead Night. Rock.

And the Saturday or Sunday we're going to be in Akron (tenatively, as we're not sure when Squirrel wants to game) for gameage.

But, either way, things are looking up. And Peril's coming to visit for Spring Break! Yay! More people should visit. *eyes* Cause, like, having people visit rocks.

Um...Happy Late St. Patty's Day! I didn't get drunk cause I was too lazy, despite there being loads of alchol in the fridge. I wanted some Bailey's Irish Creme. :3 I pretty much sat around on my ass yesterday and watched Taylor run around, trying to intimidate Rocky and Slim buy running SIDEWAYS. Literally. He'd tilt his body to the side and run in that crazy, yet hilarious way that beardies do. It's great entertainment.

Older character, Azure. She's an echidna. I got the urge to draw her last night, so I did. Think it came out pretty well. The nose is funky, but that's cause I was trying to keep with the original Sonic style face and not use the Bara-chan style echidna face that I'm so used to seeing. ^_^; Either way, she's cute. I may color this...may. >_>

A headshot of Azure. I actually just did this to show off her neck tattoo. I like the expression, though. Cute. ^_^

Another oooolder character, Sunny. Decided to doodle her up after dawing Azure. I really like her design (yellow fur, red tipped spikes/bangs/tail), even after all these years.

Pic of Kyle I doodled up the other night. This picture infurates me, because his hair looks shitty and looks like Lance Alvers from X-Men Evo. Bah. It was originally in dreads, then in the normal ponytail, then this. And I left it at this because I would have destroyed it otherwise. Bah.

Wish I could say I've done, like, a nice CGed pic but...no. I'm working...slowly on a big CGed pic for Colossal Con, but that won't be done for awhile now.

Speaking of the con, TJ wants me to dress up as The Paper from Read Or Die. Maaaybe. I'd have to find the rest of the stuff for the outfit. We also discovered that I fit this cute little vinyl corset/bustier thing that we got at a thrift store. TJ was insanely angry, then said I should go as Trish from Devil May Cry. Of course, this sounds like a good idea, but the top is, like, skin tight and I have a tummy. And, yeah, sure, lots of 'big girls' wear skimpy clothes, but on most, I think it looks skanky. As well as on myself. I try my best not go go around intentionally showing off my tummy. :P

In other news, we found TJ's X-Files Gillian/David Rolling Stone cover poster. So we hung it up on the closet door. David's kinda creepy starin' at me all the time. That look he has is...I don't know. o_o And we've come to the conclusion that Gillian is trying to look at David under the sheet. XD

Um..yeah. I guess that's it. o_o

I can't help but think there's an implied message somewhere in one of those paragraphs...but what could it be?

My money's on 'Go see Dawn of the Dead.'

You're right about 'big girls' cosplaying. That isn't to say I don't think they *should* be cosplaying (speaking as a bigger-than-average gal who plans to cosplay at Marcon)...but I think if it's done tastefully, reasonably, and creatively, the results are anything but tacky.

Big girls can really knock 'em dead with long, flowing costumes with empire waists, and with necklines that emphasize bosoms. They shouldn't, however, try dressing up as Cammy from Street Fighter. :)

;)
IMHO, 'big girls' are a good thing - and not for any perverted hormonal male reasons! They're good, 'cause they stand a chance of not getting crushed and shattered when they get hugged by dragon-trolls like me. *g* The world is a very fragile place for someone like me, and it's nice to occasionally have some piece of it not need to be treated as if crafted of spiderwebs and hollowed eggshell.

Exactly. And I've seen faaaar too many skimpy, skanky cosplayers show up in magazines and online. Ugh. If you've got -rolls- then you shouldn't be wearing anything revealing. :P

When's this Spring Break? We could come over to visit, or y'all can come over here and have Chipotle or a Jigsaw burger. :D

And I'm bringing my camera to ColossalCon... >:D
