SOME SUPERNATURAL GRIPING
Jul. 25th, 2011 12:25 amI'm a little annoyed at how Sera Gamble (ALL MY ISSUES WITH THE SHOW ARE CENTERED ON HER, I DON'T CARE IF IT'S IRRATIONAL) seems to only ever talk about Sam this and Sam that and OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS HERE'S THIS EMOTIONAL TRAUMA SAM'S GOING TO SUFFER AND ISN'T IT KAWAII AND KEWL. That's all I ever here coming from her. You know the only thing Dean-centric I've read since SDCC?
Oh, and that he'll be working on the Impala, since they did a repeat of S2's finale with trashing the car again.
In the entire SDCC spoiler entry (which isn't all that spoilery) on
ontd_spnparty, Dean is mentioned SIXTEEN TIMES (and part of that is in the comments, admittedly). Sam is mentioned 52.
Now, let me point out, I LOVE Sam. I LOVE Dean. I love Jared and Jensen. This isn't about a character preference at all. This is about Sera Gamble's fangirling for Sam's character and, QUITE FRANKLY, I find it obnoxious. In the first five seasons, things were balanced. Each of the brothers got a good amount of plot and screen time, a good amount of strife and happiness. Now, it's the Sam Winchester Show Co-starring his Older Brother, Dean. I don't know if they felt like all the good plot or development for Dean was used up or what. But everything being SAM, SAM, SAM is getting a little old. AND I'D LOVE TO SEE SOME OF THE SAM STUFF THAT'S BEING DISCUSSED. But not without Dean getting good plot as well.
I'm also tired of them trying to say each new season is going to be 'bigger' and 'better' than the last. How about you stop trying to top yourselves and just WRITE A GOOD FUCKING STORY without it being a goddamn clusterfuck like S6 was and, surely, S7 will undoubtedly be.
It's so frustrating because I love the show SO MUCH and I want to see so much good for it, but I can't stand what Sera Gamble's doing with it. Kripke, take your baby back and just lay it to rest. As much as I love to see the boys at work and see promos and interviews and still keep up on all the news, it's so sad to just end up going sldhgldksghdlkghdklghlk at everything that comes out.
IN BETTER NEWS, HOWEVER.
The Nerd HQ ustream with Jared was beautiful and amazing and I'm so glad I actually watched it.

WinFamBusiness: Talking to Sera Gamble. Dean is going to do a lot of soul searching this season. He'll be questioning why he does this.
