Stuff and RANDOM BABBLE.
Dec. 9th, 2005 10:38 amI've realized I have this...strange obsession for applications and stuff to customize my desktop. Or to just make things pretty. I just downloaded Rainlender. I don't necessarily need it, I have a calender and a organizer thing for all that. But now I have it on my desktop. I can keep track of things here instead of going all the way over to the calender ot hunting to high heaven for my datebook. It's so...convienent.
And then I go an download skins. OMG, the skins. I have so many skins for, like Windowblinds, it's absurd. And I only use, like, one. XD I find a favorite that perfectly matches my background and everything else and I stick with it because it's too much trouble and work to tweak the colors to sync with other backgrounds. XD
TJ bought me a Pink Floyd hoodie! <3 It's Dark Side of the Moon, but it'll do. X3 I also want to pick up my AC/DC 'Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap' shirt from Walmart (WTF?) before they're all gone. I NEED it. <3
Need to deposit monies in the bank before work today, which should be manageable, siince I'm gonna have to go in early when Angie comes home for her break around 2PM or 3PM, cause Dave's car isn't working.
I've got such stupid hours this week. I hope they're better next week. I work four fucking hours today and tomorrow. Cause Ray wants someone in dairy at night. Now, I don't mind this, I understand completely. The night shift people really don't give a crap about the other departments, so the milk never gets filled after the last person in dairy leaves for the day. But, for crissakes, don't make me do it EVERY NIGHT, which is pretty much what all week has been. And I was originally supposed to have Saturday off. But noooo, four hour shift. >_<
And then there's corporate people in the store for this absurd orginazational thing they're putting into effect. They really just walk around and look important. But whatever, as long as they're not on my ass, I really don't care.
I need to pick up a mouse today. No ifs, ands or buts about it. The left mouse button is seriously a pain in the ass. Ugh. But we've had this one forever, so it's about time.
So the teaser for the Silent Hill movie is out. No, I don't know why I torture myself with keeping up on it. The whole premise of it makes me ldkgslkgnslgn. I feel they're doing it all wrong. Pyramid Head?! WTF?! Now, it's not that I don't want to see him all huge and creepy and REAL, but in a movie that's (apparently?) predominantly based on 1? No. I consider him a 2 monster. He's part of what made the second game. Really. If you threw him in the first game it would be absurd. I don't like that they switched Harry with Rose (and besides, all I see is Fry from Pitch Black when I see Radha Mitchell). Alessa doesn't look like Alessa. She looks like a stuck up little prep girl. Not a girl who's part of a cult and all that. I could see movie Alessa riding horses with her little boarding school buddies. And Cybil looks like a dyke.
In other, Silent Hill related news. I FUCKING NEED THIS.
