It's the same at Kent State. They're, like, the official campus mascot or something. They sell plushes of them in the store on campus.

I remember the ninja squirrel from campus a few years ago.
He learned that if he jumped from the trees down onto people who were carrying paper bags, they'd drop the bag, and he could scamper away with what was usually lunch from the food court. He did this for a month or two.
Then one day he actually bit a student and they had to capture him and relocate him off campus.
