Went to the mall yesterday. I got my check from Coleman for the hours I worked down there. About $40. Which was good to get cause we needed a bit of food and stuffs. Bought The Ring Terror's Realm video game. *cringeSHRED* It's horrible. Seriously. I though it would be halfway decent, cause it's based on the move. But...oh god. It's for Dreamcast. And you can't use the fucking analog stick to move around, you can only use it in your first person view to look around. And the plot it so slow. And you can't log back into the game whenever you want. And it gives you no hints on where to go and what you're supposed to be doing. I had to stop playing it. >_<
OH MY GOD! Yes! So we took Shawn, from across the street with us, cause he was in a bad mood and TJ wanted to cheer him up. So we're out at the mall, and he goes up to Kahunaville to look for a friend. So we follow him up there. And I have to go check the arcade to see if they've got anything new. I go in and there it is. We've got a dancing game. Right at the mall. It's one of the Pump It Up games, I believe. But I didn't get to play, cause I needed to save my money. But it's there. And I can play it whenever I do have the money. Joy. o_o
Anyhow... Yeah. Where was I? Oh. So we take Shawn back home, and head back out to the mall to do our shit. Wander around the mall again. I think. Go over to Super-K. Got a new sketchbook. YAY! And some foodstuffs. TJ was being stubborn about food and wouldn't get any snackies for herself cause she said that I'm always complaing about how I never have money. Yeah, but I'm used to it. And as long as I have something to eat I'm happy. I can bypass most things I want for things I need. Just like I passed up getting a $8 on sale GIR plushie. The only think I wanted for myself was a sketchbook. Ah well.
So we go back to the mall. Again. It was either the second or third time. I don't remember. Wander some more. We talked with Josh somewhere in there. He works at the comic book store. He's our buddy. And he usually get's stuck in the comic store's box at the mall. :D So we like to pester him. And he was doing his Vin Diesel voice again. And he gave us a free comic. I don't know where it is now. >_> Yep. TJ managed to con me into buying a cookie. And I bought one for her, even though she didn't want one (but she ate it when we got home, so victory for me!). The we picked up Zombie Revenge fro the Dreamcast cause it was cheap and looked amusing. Kinda it, but the controls are a bitch. Then, she made me get the chili I wanted, and I was left with not enough for her to get her sub from Charley's Steakery. >_< Which she'd planned all along cause she didn't want me to spend my money on her. >_<
Anyhow, I'll probably have , at least, another $8, cause I'm gonna take back The Ring. Say it wasn't working properly on my system. :P Cause It's horrible.
I have a pic idea. Wheeee... Gonna -try- to fill this sketchbook with quality stuff. Y'know. Stuff I actually take time on. Yeah. It probably won't happen. :P
Uhm. Yeah. Apparently, I've heard that the Art Institutes pretty much suck your money up. And I don't have any to begin with. BUT! Apparently, Youngstown State University is now offering film making. And, they have a good art program there. Or so I've heard. So I'm gonna look into that. And it's a lot closer to home. And that's good. ^_^
Anywho. I think I'm gonna work on the pic that's in my head. And make more icons. Whee! Useless crap! ^_____^
