Tattoo Musings
Oct. 14th, 2011 01:41 amSo I'm back to playing the 'I want a tattoo' game again. Because I've always wanted script/words somewhere, but I could never settle on what. Until I was re-reading Richard Siken's Crush.

Ideally, on my inner left arm, above the wrist. I'd want the spacing the same too, because it's really such a crucial part of his poetry.
The planchette, I want on my right wrist. I don't know why, this is just where i see these things when i picture them.
Looking back on my old entries about tattoos and the quotes I wanted on my body, they never really connected with me the way Siken's words do and I think that's why I feel so strongly about wanting something from his work on my body. I'm sure I could find a dozen other bits and pieces of his poetry that I'd like, as well, but that's not the point.
