I was up at the early hour of noon today. I know, I know, how unblievable! But I forgot to put something in the mail the other day, so I had to take the bus out to the DJFS building and turn it in so it would be there on time. It wasn't too bad, and I didn't have to wait long for the bus either times, so that's nice!

I'm sort of hazy today, not fully grounded. It's a beautiful day, however, even if it's only 50F (I shouldn't be complaining, really, I only had to wear a light jacket). But I'm kind of inwardly grumpy about a handful of things, one of which is the fact that a lot of my clothes aren't fitting me right. I'm not 'fat' by any means, but I put on weight over the winter and I ate a lot of takeout/fast food when we had money. I spent the entirety of the winter sitting around in front of the computer, even for my classes, and that didn't help things at all. I hope we can get out biking soon, as the weather is gradually getting warmer. I need to buy a wrench to fix my tire, though, as the tube blew and my socket set isn't long enough to catch the edges of the bolt. Laaame.

Our internet (as of this morning) is out at home. I mean, I guess it's not 'our' internet, as we're hijacking someone's wifi. It happens from time to time, though.

I have to do a song and dance for my summer financial aid money. I guess, because I didn't complete the same number of hours of classes I registered for last semester, I have to file an appeal regarding why. I had registered for, I think, six to nine credit hours and I ended up only taking the one class (three credit hours) because I didn't have enough money for more than that. I don't think it'll be too big of an issue, I'd just like my financial aid to be worked out so I can take a full load of classes in a semester and be able to pay for all of them and have a bit left over for books/whatever. Everyone (EVERYONE, even my mother) else seems to be able to get a full ride except me. It's pretty lame.

Either way, I think I'm going to see about declaring Fine Arts as my major. I'm not at the 2.75 overall GPA yet (because of that first year that was a trainwreck), but I'm doing well in my classes, so maybe my advisor will do me a solid.

I start work back at the bookstore next week. I think I'll only be there for finals week, but every semester, I hope they're hire me on permanently. I'd like to find something for the summer (or longer). One of the little 'upscale' shops downtown is hiring, so I'm going to sumbit my resume. Maybe my fancy interactive resume will impress them enough to give me the job. I don't know.

I've just been feeling reallty discontent lately. It could be me shaking off the winter. It could be the lack of sun. It could cabin fever.

Tony and I were hunting around for stuff to do this summer that isn't terrible expensive. There's a pretty big water park in Cuyahoga Falls and there's always the Medieval Faire. We're going to Minnesota in July for Squeeji and Elliott's wedding/reception party. We've been considering Anthrocon, but that will all depend on our money situation and it'll probably just be to drive down, see people and not really attend the convention itself. Of course, the Pride Parade in Cleveland is also that weekend and it was pretty fun (although HOT) last year, so I don't know. All AmeriCon is May 2nd, but I don't know if we'll be able to make it into town for it, considering we're all but broke. I think i have $3 in change. It's pretty awesome.

Anyhow, I'm sitting on campus right now because I needed a break from walking/busing. I forgot to put insoles in the shoes I'm wearing and it kind of sucks. I think, when I get home, I'm going to try and finish cleaning downstairs and maybe start on my plants.

This is really the only art I've done lately and it was just a sketch from January. Regardless, I still like it, even if Sitara should be a bit shorter and thinner.

Just as you don't call into a radio show (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0zt4opqL18) to complain about your stolen wi-fi . . .

I found a nearby unprotected network and upgraded their router firmware for them. :-D
