That's not...really what I was going for with the Poe one. I may go back and re-color it how I originally wanted it to be. But I was getting hit with a lack of motivation, so I kind of half-assed it to finish it. The Sitara one it from a sketch I did a few weeks ago. I used to ink like that a lot and I think it looks great on the body, but I went overkill on her tail. Ah well, it's still cute.

I've been meaning to finish watching Dark Angel. I'm almost done with the second to last episode in S1 and I got distracted by something else and never went back to it. After watching S1, I can see why people say the two seasons are like two different shows. Geeze.

I don't know what I'm going to start on after I finish Dark Angel. S6 of Supernatural is dead to me. I'm just sick of Sera Gamble's fanfiction festival. I'll cling to the first five seasons as if they were my babies, but S6 can die in a ceiling fire.

Oh! We did start watching the second season of Being Human! So I need to catch up on that. I keep wanting to watch Doctor Who, but I really don't know where to start (please don't say 'the beginning', that's a lot to work through!). Anime-wise, which I haven't watched in a long, long time, I was thinking of checking out Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt because it seems like ridiculous shenanigans all around. And, admittedly, I really like the character designs. :3 Although, I'm not a huge fan of the Dexter's Labratory/Powerpuff Girls animation style anymore.



Any other suggestions for quality stuff I should try out? :O

Most of the time I love tumblr, I really do. But every now and again, someone posts something that's so ridiculous or absurd that I just can't help but roll my eyes. Today it was this:

Because, I don't know, generally it takes a male and a female to produce offspring. I know there are animals that reproduce differently, many people know that. The age bracket that Pokemon is marketed to (which is NOT high school through college age folks) does not know that. Nor do they care, I imagine. If you really want to bitch about things wrong with gender/sexuality in Pokemon, how about how ALL POKEMON LAY EGGS.

Just throwing that one out there.

Thankfully, many of the comments are with sense and the fact that IT'S A KIDS GAME. But, apparently, the real issue is about Attract/Captivate/moves that only work on opposite sex Pokemon.

To all of you who are saying that breeding can only happen between opposite sexes: that isn’t the issue. The issue that upsets people is the existence of moves like “Attract” which only affect the opposite gender.

Okay, whatever. It'd be hilarious if those moved worked on any gender. They don't, so what's the big deal. People are acting like it's Pokemon's underlying goal is to promote some sort of anti-gay agenda or something.

If people aren't bitching about not having a female main character, they're finding something ELSE ridiculous to bitch about and don't you people have better things to do? Also, isn't getting upset about a move in a children's game a LITTLE RIDICULOUS. Find more important issues to get ~upset~ about.

Sure, I could be doing better things than writing up this rant, but I genuinely like bitching about shit like this, so I guess I'm not really wasting my time!

Overly PC bullshit really drives me up the wall.

As a norn, I fully support the pro-egg group! I sure wouldn't want to carry a kid around for nine months . . .

(It's interesting to consider how our society would be different if we laid eggs. Strangely I don't see a lot of interest in that idea in stories - maybe furs are just too focussed on the sex.)

I've always thought that a Gay ability in Pokemon would be awesome, so that gender-based moves would only work from the same gender. I'm sure no one else would like it (and who fucking uses Attract anyway, seriously, it blows).

I guess I've never really thought that ~deeply~ into Pokemon moves to even consider it. I'm more interested in whatever plot there is and doing all the dumb city stuff.

Have any of these people considered how chaotic it would be if there was to be more of a 'spectrum' to pokemon, not to mention the nightmare it would be to program.

But hey, there are also genderless pokemon that somehow only reproduce with Ditto, and pokemon with the ability 'oblivious' that makes it not notice stuff like attract at all. So, it's more off the wall than people give it credit for.

In the end, it's just another stat, just like it's type. And really, in the realms of a competitive pokemon battling, I'm glad that they don't program for the whole spectrum.

See, the people who bitch about this sort of thing don't take into consideration things like programming and all that. They just want ~noticed~ because it's an entitlement thing. It's a very annoying trait among lazy, internet-only 'BLAH' activists.

Mostly I'm just going 'who uses status movies that don't cause sleep or stun?' because my team is always overly offensive over defensive.

Honestly? Start with the 9th Doctor until the 11th. Its the easiest way to do it, since they all have continuity and similar characters and reoccurring storylines between them.

Then, if want more after that...go backwards, (I love 8th (Just a movie) and 4th). :3
