Here's some half-awake morning photos of my ~new~ haircolor. I've been wanting to go darker for awhile, but I'm a little scared to take the plunge to straight black. So I went the darkest brown I could find before black and this is petty much it. For reference the first image is my natural color (for the most part), then bedhead and after I run the flatiron over it.

I sort of missed two spots near the front of my head, but they're not too noticable and look more like highlights. Like, the dye took to them, but they might've been oily. I'm thinking about bleaching underneath and maybe dying it a bright color (whatever Manic Panic or haircolor stuff is left floating around the house), but I don't know. BIG DECISIONS. Something like this, but with the brown-black on top and another color underneath. Ah! this is what I'm talking about! I imagine it would look like this when down, too.

I can get away with a lot at my work, so I think bleaching/putting a brighter color underneath won't be a big deal.

Two small commissions we bought recently! I bought the one of Destiny from Vera and Tony bought the Cupid one from Coffinberry. :3

We also grabbed tickets for the Rasputina show next month. /excite And also the Celldweller show in March! Tony's pretty excited about that. Plus, it's nice to see shows that are cheap. Only $10/$15 a ticket.

On Tuesday (tomorrow) we have to go up to the bank and get a money order for rent. Paying up to, like, June/July. :D :D :D Put money on the other bills and then figure out what else we need for house-stuff. I already grabbed my textbooks from Amazon (god willing they'll get here in a timely manner, otherwise I might have to buy a chapter of the ebook to tide me over for assignments), so that's out of the way (also spent under $100 on both of them!). Bought medication for the cats (de-wormer) and we have to get Mel's tags and rabies shot when we have the time.

I picked up some new non-photo blue pencils at the art store. Mine were down to, like, the last inch or two. It's really tough to draw with them like that. XD They don't really carry the Stedlater ones anymore, though! I don't like the Prismacolors because the lead is too soft for sketching. But they had Verithin's, so hopefully that will be a good replacement. I also picked up some Derwent Graphitint pencils and a nice peel off eraser (it's pencil-shaped and tipped, but is an actual eraser, great for fiddly little erasing).

Man, I've been writing this entry for, like, three days. What the hell.

Anyhow, since it's now Tuesday, we have to go up and get rent money. Phil (one of our landlord's halpers) came by yesterday to see what was up with that (since I told him we'd be paying up a bit when Tony's money came). I let him know we're probably paying up to June or July and he was really happy to hear that and said that they were 'glad we like the place' which is a huge relief because I was SO worried about some lease snafu or something like that after November/December. But Scott (our landlord) understood what was going on then (though he would have rather had his money, of course, which I completely understand).

Then, by the time we need to pay rent again, it'll be summer session time and we'll have more financial aid to pay up into the fall semester with.Tony gets a huge chunk of money back (even for only being half time and I have no clue HOW or WHY they end up giving him the full amount, but it's keeping a roof over my head, so I'm not going to complain) and, hopefully, my financial aid will work itself out since I'm actually a student at the main branch now instead of the cheaper regional branches. Hopefully, it'll be adjusted for the higher tuition prices.

IN OTHER NEWS.

I went to the library and returned Sorcerer's Stone and picked up the next two books as well as The Hunger Games, which I'm enjoying so far. Initially I was all 'this sounds like Battle Royale in America', but then I was corrected as I did my research on the books.
