To get it out of the way first: I am not attending Anthrocon this year.

There's a lot of reasons for it, but it mostly boils down to the fact that there's always drama within the group I attend with, despite us getting along great any other time. i also don't have ANY merchandise and I'm not wanting to do commissions all convention long. It's just not financially smart for us to go this year, what with rent and everything. Plus, I don't want to juggle getting some classwork done AND trying to enjoy myself.

Instead of AC, we're going to attend PRIDE in Cleveland, see a Journey tribute band and go to the Foreigner/Styx/Kansas concert that weekend. Which is likely going to be far more entertaining than AC will ever be. Plus, going to Pride covers the token GHEY you get at AC anyhow and without all the obnoxious cunts you're stuck in a hotel with for three days! Huzzah!
