Well, well, well. Look who finally has a laptop! Sure, it's a cheap little emachines thing from Walmart. But I only paid $300-some for it and it suits my needs quite well. It also has more harddrive space than my PC, so there's that. I have to pick up a mouse and one of those little stands so the fan doesn't overheat or anything. But it's pretty nice and Windows 7 is shiny.

Other than that, bills have been getting paid and we bought house necessities. Bought a little bit of clothes and some stuff for the dog. Also got flea stuff for the animals, which is good.

Classes start tomorrow. I only have one class on M, T, and R. Two classes on W. It's a weird schedule, but I don't mind because I'm still job hunting and it'll leave time open for that if I acquire anything.

I rented Alan Wake. It's hard (even on Normal), but it's pretty good so far.

I thought I had more to write about, but I guess not. At least, not that I can think of at the moment. Haven't been online a whole lot lately, it's been hot so we've been sleeping quite a bit during the days.

take extra-good care of it... e-machines aren't the best around (oog) so be extra-careful about viruses/crap to give it the longest life possible!

Yeah, I was looking at a few other brands at Best Buy, but despite giving myself a $500 budget, I really didn't want to spend ~that~ much. I really wanted a Dell (because ~colored case~), but no numpad = dealbreaker for me.

Thankfully I'm pretty good with keeping my computers clean, so I'm hoping this trend continues with the laptop. X3
