I can't say I've been exactly ~busy~ lately, but I've been keeping myself occupied with a lot of things. Roleplay, getting outside and doing stuff, that sort of thing.

Yesterday, I went out to mail a package out and drop some books off at the library. I got TJ out of the house with me, which was nice, and we went down to the river to sit. I got ~in~ said river because, hey, it's cleaner by far than the Mahoning River and, to be honest, I really love tromping around in the water and looking for things. Sadly, the water level was higher than normal, so there were some spots I couldn't see the bottom at (likely, it was probably no more than three feet deep anywhere I was at), but I didn't want to walk home soaking wet.

Today, we took the bus out to Ravenna for TJ's therapist appointment near the hospital. A surprisingly easy ride, I was expecting mayhem because the schedules don't list ~every single stop~. But, it wasn't and the bus dropped us off right in front of the building we needed to go to!

Afterwards, we waited about fourty minutes for the next bus, then went to Walmart to grab some stuff to make nachos with (yum!) and then came home! Exciting, I know.

We also picked up applications for the Goodwill by the Walmart because they're ACTUALLY hiring and HOPEFULLY we can snag something. It'd be awesome, since the bust stop is RIGHT there.

Still haven't heard ANYTHING about summer classes. Flashline is being such a pain in the ass and I hope Kent gets their shit together because it's getting really obnoxious.

Money's still an 'eeeh' issue (but I'm still taking commissions!!), though we've kind of leveled at the moment. I guess that's good? I mean, we don't have any gas in the car, but we have rent paid. Guess that counts for something.

I have an appointment at DJFS (AGAIN) on Friday. Hopefully they'll just look at what's on my record and go 'oh, you were just a day late with your papers? no big deal!'. It's jsut a pain./ I figured having them postmarked by the deadline would be enough, but I guess not. Ah well. Absolutely nothing financially has changed, though, so there shouldn't be much for the caseworker to do.
