I really loathe this weather change. I like autumn well enough, the changing of the leaves, Halloween, etcera. But goddamn if I don't hate the dreary days and how sluggish I get. Bleh.
So we missed Drawing last Thursday because we were at the vet office. I got the handouts from another student so we knew what to do for the homework. Well, that'dbe fine and all if...the handouts properly described how to use the technique described. It's about Mondrian Gesture but...even Google has given me nothing useful. And Piet Mondrian's own work is, well, absolutely useless for anything. I'm pretty much just saying 'fuckit' because if I miss a class and another student is unable to explain to me how to do the homework (it's a still life using the Mondrian technique) and the handouts are useless then...well, something is wrong. I should be able to get a good idea of what I need to do even if I miss a class.
I'm sure our professor will get his panties in a twist, but I truthfully don't care.
In news unrelated to school but related to art, this was linked in #furry today after a short conversation about the whole Mondrian thing I was complaining about:

THANKS OHIO. FUCK YOU GUYS. GODDAMN.
@Obsidian> Oh, guys?
@Obsidian> Confirmed, the rape tunnel is fake

@Obsidian> Looks like it was all a "social experiment" after all

I've been reduced to drawing retarded pen doodles on lined paper in class again. I don't know if I miss it or not. I do like those shrubs, however.
Koffing rat is sick. Looks like he's got a cold of some sort. All puffed up and miserable. I pulled him, Runt and Possum from the big cage of boys and put them in a seperate one. Runt is just...he's never been in the best of health. He looks almost malnourished, despite the fact I do see him eat often. He's also gone completely blind in both eyes and he's lost one of them. The problem is is that he doesn't act as if he's in pain and he's still quite alert and active. We're going to give him a bit in the cage with the other two to see if he puts on some weight, but we're willing to have him put down if need be.
One of the nude boys is going to lose the tip of his tail from the wild rat bites, as well.
