WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN.

ALSO WHAT THE FUCK MARVEL? I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE FUCKING END OF OCTOBER FOR #19 AND THE MIDDLE OF NOVEMBER FOR #20?? FUCK YOU GUYS.

Upside, it's obvious from the previews on Marvel's site for IIM #19 and IIM #20 that Tony's not 'dead'. But...wait, wut?

FFS now I remember why I don't pick up comics. Because companies like to pull this shit to be SUSPENSEFUL or some bullshit.

Also, as I am a Pepperfag, I'm really hoping she doesn't get tossed by the wayside once shit hits the fan. :/

Admittedly, I do like that cover because it does parallel a certain other pivotal scene in Civil War but...how the hell does that whole thing come about?

I ALSO HAVE TO WAIT JUST AS LONG FOR THE NEXT ISSUES OF REBORN.

Speaking of Captain America and in regards to the Who Will Wield The Shield (OH HI SOUNDING A LOT LIKE BATTLE FOR THE COWL THAR MARVEL). Why, why, WHY would anyone think it's okay to put Steve back into action after being frozen for a few years (what is it now? Two? Three? Hell if I remember.). Isn't that going to make the American public go 'UM WHAT'.

Now, admittedly, I like Bucky's run as Cap. It's been good character development (OR IT SHOULD'VE BEEN, GODDAMNIT) and a nice change of pace. But, FFS, give poor Steve some time to recoup, guys! I mean, there's a lot to take in that's happened post-Civil War. Tony's MIA, Osborne's head of things, there's technically no S.H.I.E.L.D. or Avengers anymore. Things are actually in a worse place than they were before. That's a lot to deal with for old man Rogers.

Brubaker, I'm calling bullshit on you saying this has been in the works for two years.

ALSO ALL THE COMICS I'M WAITING ON DON'T COME OUT FOR, LIKE, EVER.

Iron Man & The Armor Wars #4 doesn't come out until NOVEMBER 5TH. What the hell. Nomad: Girl Without A World #2 isn't due until mid-October. And Ultimate Comics: Avengers #3 isn't due until the end of October.

FUCK YOU GUYS.

What something that isn't me bitching about comics?

Thursday morning we were woken up to the nude rattie boys fighting. Thinking it was a squabble between themselves over food, I groggily got out of bed and went to seperate them. I reach in the cage to shove them apart and I stop suddenly. There's a rat that ISN'T NUDE in there. A brown-colored rat. It flails around at the nude boys who have it pressed agaisnt the side of the cage and then, when I distract some, squeezes out through the bars.

Cue us going WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT and turning the lights on to see blood and mayhem in the cage. Some pretty nasty tail bites were suffered, as well as some nose bites and some very superficial nips and scratches on backs and sides. The boys are all on edge save for one who just...doesn't look well. TJ calls the vet and we trek up to All Creatures to get him looked at. Our initial assumption, that he was in shock, was pretty much agreed on by the vet. He gave us some medicine for them to put in their water bottle and sent us on our way. The shaken boy was already starting to look a little better by the time we got home.

All is quiet until last night when TJ tells me the boys are fighting and yelling again. They'd been jumpy all day, spooking each other and accidentally stepping on wounded tails. So I go check up on them and the one PEW is staring intently at one of the dressers in the middle room downstairs (Al still has his daughter's stuff here and there's two dressers + a twin mattress and bedspring in the middle room). So I get the flashlight and check under the dressers and...lo and behold, there's a little agouti rat. I figure I'll try to catch him and toss him outside somewhere. There's no other signs of wild rats in the house or garage, so we think he probably got washed out of his home or his colony is somewhere nearby (possibly the garage behind the house that Al also owns and does nothing with). I don't want to kill him, I just don't want him getting in my rat cages again.

Unfortunately, I spooked him and he went flying across the room, ran into the bathroom door and then disappeared into the bathroom. I then discovered that the drawers that are built into the wall, well...the bottom one doesn't sit right and when I pulled it out I discovered there's no backing at all behind them and it dumps out into a crawlspace near the furnace.

It's amazing how well this house was put together, truly.

So I hunt for the wild rat in the garage, but there was no sign of him. Now it's just a waiting game to see if I scared him off enough that he's not going to come back or if I'm going to need to find a way to block that crawlspace off.

But the boys are doing well and healing up just fine, which is good.

Yesterday we went up to the laundromat by Sheetz and did a ton of clothes and bedding which desperately needed washed. After dropping stuff off at the house we decided to trek out to Rogers to go to the flea market.

And, because I can't seem to go out there now and not bring an animal home...

This is Irish Carbomb. I thought he was an Agouti (which is what I've been looking for) in the cage, but he ended up being a Chocolate Irish. The lady I bought him from was really nice and quite knowledgable with rats. The ones she had for sale were well taken care of and all bright eyed and curious. He was only $5, too. Which was the last bit of cash I had in my pocket from doing clothes.

He's quite the sweetie and very well tempered. He's probably going to go with the big group of boys when his quarantine is over. For now, however, he's staying in my computer room.

Today I pretty much laid around the house. It's a pretty dreary day, so I wasn't up for a whole lot.

I realized, upon waking up, I totally flaked out on my peer discussion thing for Writing because I, for some reason, thought yesterday was Thursday (despite the fact that Rogers Flea Market is only open on Fridays) and that I had time to do my thing today because it had to be done on Friday by 7PM when the board is closed. So I feel kind of like a douchebag about that and I hope it's not a huge issue when I go in for my conference on Wednesday. I'm fine with taking the lack of grade because I should've paid better attention to the date/time. But, whatever. It happens. I'm not going to beat myself up for it especially when there's nothing I can do about it.

I need to revise my first essay for a potentially better grade. I also hope someone from Drawing gets back to me on the subject of if we had homework or not. We didn't go to class on Thursday because, well, we were at the vet office.

Also, is it just me (and TJ) but...did SNL really SUCK BALLS tonight? I mean, the Digital Short was...well, it wasn't even on the map of anything remotely entertaining. The onyl thing we did laugh at was the Transformers skit with Andy Samberg, the sex line skit (lol David Duchovny) and the parts of Weekend Update WITHOUT the guests. Also, who likes U2 anymore? Really? YOU'RE SO DEEP BONO WE DON'T UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN WITH YOUR SERIOUS FACE AND YOUR PASSIONATE FLAILING.

Also, unrelated, I HATE SONGS THAT SOUND GOOD UNTIL THEY START DOING THAT DEATH METAL SCREAM. HATE HATE WHY WOULD YOU RUIN SOMETHING GOOD YOU DUMBFUCKS.
