obliviousally_ljI got the job at K-Mart. Overnights, a little over $8/hour. Almost what I was making at Target.
Weekly paychecks are a bonus, though.
I'm happy to have a job again, even if I have this feeling it's going to be a bigger trainwreck than Walmart was. K-Mart has just...never rubbed me as a 'well run' sort of establishment. As Angie said, they're at the bottom of the 'mart' tier.
I've got my COMPASS assesment at Kent...today. Two or three hours doing a proficency test, essentially. I've gotta be there at 8AM, too. Ugh.
I'm probably not going to get much sleep, if any at all. I took a nap today in hopes of getting up a bit later and staying up to go and take the test, but I don't think that'll happen.
My mom came by and dropped off some food for us. A ham and rice and veggies. Which should tide us over for moment. I'm really tired of not having anything decent to drink, however.
