obliviousally_ljI'm trudging through the Civil War tie-ins and finding them surprisingly good. I've read the Iron Man one and Fallen Son so far. I also got Young Avengers/Runaways, X-Men, Marvel Universe and...maybe another. I don't recall. Oh, Fantastic Four. And I also grabbed Spider-Man: One More Day, because I've heard so much about it. And when I'm getting books for free from the library, I'll read anything.
But they are all less infuriating than Civil War itself. So that much is good.
We went all the way out to Canfield again. The regular hours for the flea market/garage sale were over at 3PM, a half hour before we got ther.e And they were having a $5 clearance thing (whatever you could carry out for $5), but it seemed slim pickings at that point. So we drove back into town and stopped at the comic store.
Unfortunately, Charles was there and being a fucking goddamn creep, so we bounced. Because the less time I have to spend around him, the better.
TJ got Marvel Zombies 4 and Man-Bat.
Then, Hot Dog Shoppe for some sub-par chili fries. But if a botched flea market trip and less than stellar fires are the worse part of the weekend, I'll take it.
