I'm trying to work on sort of mock graduation portraits for Freckles and none of them are coming out right. Especially the headshot. I can't get her HAIR to look right. ARGH. And I've drawn it, like, twice. Maybe I'll break down and scan one up and mess with it digitally to see if I can fix it at all. It's such a SIMPLE pose and it's not working out for me.

We went out for Black Friday browsing, and because it's the only time of day I'm awake. There was nothing we really WANTED, but we wanted to see if we could score a nice, cheap digital camera or maybe some cheap games. We ended up with a few cheap movies we didn't have in our collections (The Howling 3, Blues Brothers and Beavis and Butthead Do America) as well as an Xbox for $40 and a few super cheap games (Doom 3, Panzer Dragoon Orta and The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay).

So, not bad at all.

Now! Having an Xbox, I want to hack it. Anyone know any EASY (non-modchip) ways to do so? I know you can softmod it, but I haven't done a whole lot of research just yet. I'd really like to be able to transfer movies I have on my computer over to it so I can actually *GASP* watch them on my TV instead of my tiny computer screen. I mean, being able to hack the box was really the deciding factor for me, because I know it can be done and it intimidates me a lot less than hacking TJ's PSP.

As a side note, I really kinda wish people wouldn't lock entries so I can't see them. Especially when I'm probably the one who SHOULD be seeing them. Huh.

I just really wish people wouldn't hide things from me. :/ Even though I probably know what it's about and I don't know WHAT I did to cause it.
