TJ just got fired because, Wednesday when some bullshit happened, she was considered a no call, no show. Despite me telling Randy what was going on and everything was fucking fine. If me letting them know wasn't good enough, they should've TOLD ME and I would've told TJ to call in and explain what happened.

EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY DID.

Fucking lovely. I can't fucking do this on my own. I cannot support the both of us by myself. And TJ can't get a job where she has to put up with people directly all day. This was fucking perfect for us. We worked the same hours, we got our checks at the same time.

Things were going to be okay. We could save up, move out and not continue to be stuck in a shitty fucking situation that we can't pull ourselves out of.

This is such fucking bullshit.

EDIT: A bit of detail into what happened.

TJ had a huge panic attack on Wednesday. She dropped me off at work, said she was going to park, and then peeled out of the parking lot. I was left there with that awesome feeling of OH SHIT in my stomach. I go in to work, tell Randy (the manager above Sam, my manager) what happened and what's up. He asks me if I need to go home and I explain that I have no way home so I'll just keep my phone on me and try to touch base.

I eventually contact TJ (she went to Rob's). I let Randy know everything's okay and EVERYTHING WAS FINE. I assumed me telling them what happened was considered reporting her off. I think nothing of it and no one tells me if I should have her call and report off herself.

So, she goes in this morning and they terminate her for being a no call, no show.

If working there taught me anything, it's that corporate America is fucking bullshit. I can't tell you the times they jerked me around, changed my schedule without calling me, or completely "forgot" that my schedule had changed anyway and called me at home asking why I wasn't coming in to work.

I'm sorry they got you guys. Maybe, maybe if you push it with your manager, the store manager, or even the district manager you could get her job back, but I would go over your direct supervisor's head immediately.

:C Sounds like that's going to make things pretty hard. Jeez, as if you didn't have enough to deal with, amirite. Finding a new job isn't easy (especially now with all this economic bullshit). I wish you both the best, just stick with it and don't give up. Also know your local resources. Some communities take care of their own pretty well.

Except she wasn't a no-call/no-show because I TECHNICALLY reported her off by explaining what happened. It's no different from me calling her off because she was sick or in the hospital or something.
