obliviousally_ljThe last two or so days have been lazy. Krispy came over last night after work to bum because it was cold and it was better than going to Shari's and spending monies we didn't have. We lazed about, did a quick Burger King run for breakfast (obviously negating the whole 'spending money we don't have' thing), and then napped.
We hit up the thrift stores today, after I filtered monies into the proper places (savings and credit). I bought two skirts. A pretty long one, which is a sage-y green shade I don't really like. I'll probably dye it. But I LOVED the cut and design of it. And then a past-the-knee length black asymettrical skirt that I can wear with my sockses. I'm really wanting to wear skirts lately, but it's hard to overcome my need and desire to wear all-around useful clothes (jeans and t-shirts). But, hey, even if they don't get use out here, I'll wear 'em to the clubs and stuff back home.
Krispy found a FABULOUS pair of vintage/victorian-esque women's ankle boots. They're SO CUTE.
TJ found jeans. They're a smidge small for her currently, but she wants to drop some of the weight she's put on anyhow, mostly so she can fit back into all of her clothes.
I found a shirt that reads'Lake Erie is Awesome' 'Happiness is Lake Erie', or something to that effect.
We picked up a little bit of fur, so TJ can try to finish her Keeper head before Bob comes back. We stopped and rented a game and then grabbed some Chung's and came home. Krispy works at, like, 10:30PM and I work at 11PM. And then I'm off for four days, so I need to mail things out and get shit done. BADLY. I've been slacking far too much.
So, I soaked Binary's scab (because it FINALLY started to scab) last night and jabbed at it. It FINALLY opened. And, oh lord. There was SO MUCH pus in it. So so so so much. I went through half a toilet paper roll cleaning it up. It just...kept coming. He was so angry with me. But I drained pretty much all of it. And it was, at least, consistant and smooth. Not all chunky and nasty like some of the others I've had to clean. And it didn't smell nearly as bad as the others I've cleaned, either. He seems to have cleaned it a bit since then. The skin of it still hangs a bit, but it doesn't drag. I hope the skin there retightens and heals up nicely. Otherwise, I'll see if the vet is able to remove the extra, stretched skin that the lump caused.
Either way, he's still doing well and that thing is gone. I hope it doesn't return.
I think I'm gonna take a short nap. And then, works.
